There is an old narnian story. A story that has been told from generation to generation. A few details have been lost through time , but the core idea remains: The tale of a lost princess returning to her homeworld after being exiled. She was cursed since her birth to prick her finger on a spindle and sentenced to sleep until her true love awoke her with a true love's kiss. A very simple story, you see. Unfortunately, people have forgotten some very important details that vary from prophecies , to battles, to the very origin of the princess's personality and her true love. But worry not, for this book holds the untold tale of the sleeping beauty.

Our story begins on the last day of Narnian summer. Before Jadis , the white witch, declared herself queen of Narnia. What was supposed to be the most joyous day for the Narnians, turned out to be a complete tragedy: a bloody battle, the fall of a great regime and the beginning of tyranny. But I'm getting ahead of myself.

Cair Paravel was bursting with life. The castle was decorated with roses of every imaginable color. The finest silk banner hanging in the room. Gourmet food and appetizers available for every single guest. Joyful and happy music playing in the background. Excited whispers and chatter shared by the guests. For you see, every Narnian creature from royalty to commoners were invited to Princess Aurora's introduction to the world: Fauns, Centaurs, dryads, satyrs, gryphons, talking animals and faeries.

Among the cheerful guests, three ladies whispered between them all while drinking a goblet of white wine. The tallest one in the group had long flowing hair and cornflower blue eyes dressed in her finest pink dress. She was beaming, she looked like an energetic child waiting for Father Christmas presents. Next to her was a lady with dark hair and small hazel eyes wearing a green gown. She looked a lot more put together than her friend though her excitement was still clear rin the way her hand trembled in anticipation. The shortest in the group had dark curly hair and pretty brown eyes. She was dressed in blue and looked more composed than her friends. However, any one who knew her could see that she was brimming with happiness for she had never looked happier. The names of these ladies? Flora, Fauna and Merryweather. The kindest faeries in the entirety of Narnia.

"Oh I can't wait to see her!" Floras exclaimed as she took another sip of wine" I bet she looks just like Dorea. Pretty blonde hair and green eyes. She'll be stunning once she grows up. "

The faerie in green shook her head and shared an amused look with Merryweather.

"You just want to continue with the blonde supremacy." Fauna declared smugly. And she watched in satisfaction as Flora tried to deny it in vain. "I bet she looks just like Stephan. A more subtle and quiet beauty."

"I'll be the one laughing when baby Aurora looks like a combination of both," Merryweather sentenced with mirth.

The faeries shared a laugh and took another sip from her goblet. They looked around watching as every single guest was brimming with anticipation.
