"Okay, butter? Check. Flour? Check. Sugar? Check. Chocolate chips? Check-a-roo!" Felix slid the pen he'd been chewing on the end of back into his bag as he marked the last thing off on his list. "Last but not least, eggs. And we need extra because Chris, Han, and Changbin eat them like crazy."

I pushed the cart beside him as we ventured to the back of the store towards the dairy department. "I still can't believe I actually get to help you bake cookies!"

He smiled and swayed his arm against mine. "I'm happy to have someone so excited about helping me! Normally everyone is willing to help, but they're never this excited for it." He held his hand up and pointed back to where we needed to go as he did a small, little jog towards the cooler of eggs.

"Wait for me!" I pushed the cart quickly to catch up with him as I watched his blonde head bob back and forth to match his steps. I'd spent the whole morning with him and where we hadn't done much except get coffee and come here, I was having a blast spending time with him. Felix is funny, charming, and an absolute delight to be around.

He started stacking carton after carton of eggs into the cart. "That uh, geez you weren't kidding about needing a lot of eggs."

He smiled and quickly counted the supply of eggs he had in the cart. "15 dozen, I'm set!"

"Surely they don't go through that many eggs?" My gaze shifted between the cart full of eggs and then to him and couldn't help but laugh.

He shrugged his shoulders as we headed back up towards the front of the store. "The three of them alone can down between 6-10 dozen in a weeks time. Then consider the rest of us and yeah, 15 is pretty average for us. Gym fiends and their protein."

"You don't ever work out with them?"

He glared at me with a look that screamed are you crazy?! I couldn't help but laugh as he quickly lost the seriousness behind his look and let out a deep yet happy sounding laugh. "Absolutely not! Given, we all have to in order to stay healthy, but I never go like they do. Changbin had been pestering me for weeks to go but now I have his attention diverted elsewhere."

We got up to the checkout as we waited in line, the store much busier today than it was the other day. "Oh? And who's he focused on now?"

He pulled his phone out of his pocket as he quickly scrolled through his camera roll. "Jeongin," he showed me a picture of I.N and Changbin at the gym as they both flexed in front of the mirror. Changbin looked completely at home where I.N looked like he was about to die.

"You're kinda mean you know that?" I watched as he showed me the progression of pictures that shows the downfall of I.N's happiness of being stuck at the gym.

"You have to keep the people on their toes! I can't be all sunshine and cuddly kisses! I have a mischievous side to me as well." With a cute little wink, he walked around and stood in front of the cart as he started setting our items up on the belt. I tried to help but was quickly told to stop.

The same cashier from the other night was working again as she and Felix once again made small talk. It was honestly very interesting and quite nice to see them conversing as if he were a normal person.

"We miss out on life...sometimes I wonder if they feel the same way I do."

Chris's words from this morning echoed through my head. Seeing Felix right now you wouldn't think he was an idol, a celebrity, someone of importance. She was treating him as if he were an average person; someone like her and I.
