Welcome to a... probably not very good multi-chapter fanfic that I'm working on.
Because I listed all the other important things in the description, I'll just use this page to explain how the whole soulmate thing works. For this story, at least.
Basically, when you first meet your soulmate, their name appears on your wrist. The name is written in pretty letters in a specific color and surrounded by little shapes; both are associated with the soulmate.
(For example, Pearl's soulmate would have her name in blue, with stars and ovals surrounding it.)
PSA (for real life AND this story): Soulmate relationships are NOT solely romantic. Yes, they can be, but a soulmate is just someone you are deeply connected with. This connection does not mean the two have to be romantic partners.
Some of the soulmate pairings in this story are simply chosen randomly because they seem to be a popular pairing in the fandom. That does not mean I ship the two characters romantically, that I care that much for the ship, or that the two are romantically involved in this story.
Also, please let me know if you notice any issues in this story. Whether it be my grammar, my story telling skills, how I write the characters (they might be a little ooc), how I handle other topics that are mentioned, or any warnings you feel should be added. Constructive criticism is allowed, encouraged, and greatly appreciated.
