Y/N's POV.

Saturday, may 8th.

Today was like any other day, boring. Of course I could do something, but all I wanted to- do is be in my big open room with my cat, mittens. I  felt really lazy sitting here, I felt like a slug on my bed. I  decided to not 'waste' my day and do something productive.

I had no idea what I was going to do after getting ready. To b fair I had nothing to do. My home work was finished and so was my chores. I then thought of something. How about I visit my friend, Rex. (X-Ray) I haven't seen him in a while, so I might as well pay him a visit. Thankfully he lived across from me. I got out of my bed, and put on shorts with a black crop top, then put on my shoes.

Once I headed outside, I ran across the street and knocked on His door. To my surprise, he answered the door as he let me in.
"So, what brings you here huh?"  Rex says, scratching his head. I noticed his mother wasn't home. So I assumed she was grocery shopping.
"I decided I should come over. I am pretty bored to be fair-" I said. As he grabbed my hand and took me to his room. I sat on his bed as he grabbed the TV remote and turned on a movie. "Same here, I hope you don't mind if we could watch a movie." he smiled awkwardly as blush crept onto his face. "Of course! Who wouldn't say no?"  I smiled, as he laughed a little and sat on the bed with me.

X-Rays POV.

'Oh, Y/N.. What I would give for you to be with me.' I think to myself as I sat on my bed with them. Seeing them smile makes me so happy. Maybe today should be the day I tell them I have feelings.

|30 minute time skip|

It was the middle of the movie, as both me and Y/N we're laying on the bed, snuggling up to one  another. 'This is my chance' I think.

"Y/N.." I say as I look away. They noticed that I looked nervous as they spoke. "Yes Rex?" they said. "Well.. I know this is weird but.. I love you. And I have been meaning to tell you for a while, but I never had the time or right moments to do so. If you don't like me back, I don't want this to affect our friendship." I say, feeling as if they would say no. I notice them blush. "Oh Rex.." They pulled me into a passionate kiss as I kiss back. This all felt like a dream. An if it was I hope it never goes away..

We ended up cuddling the whole night, as they gave me kisses here and there, sometimes on my nose other times on my lips. I didn't mind though, this was heaven for me! I loved the way they looked at me with their adorable grin. They were so adorable. What else could I ask for?

The next day, they had left my house as I Texted them

Rex: Heyy! That was fun last night, maybe you could come over again tonight for dinner?? If so that would be lovely sweetheart. Love ya! 😘

I texted them, as we soon made arrangements to meet at my house for dinner. I was so excited. I couldn't wait for tonight to come! But of course I knew I had to be patient with myself. And just get through they say so I could see them. God, I wish I had a time machine so I could just time skip to tonight! I can't wait to cuddle her. All this thinking made me grin. As I sit on the couch and watch TV.

Y/N's POV

After last night, I had butterflies in my stomach. All I could think about was him and last night. That night was so.. Magical. Even if it felt like something ordinary for others, it definitely wasn't ordinary for me. I was lost in my thoughts. As he texted me asking me out on a date. Omg!! This is amazing!! I know it's not like one of those fancy dates, but it was still a date. Even if it were at his house. I miss kissing his soft lips and cuddling him like a koala. I miss him already.

I realized what time it was, as I seemed to be late for work! "Shoot!" I yell out as I quickly put on my waitress outfit and run to my car.

|time skip to Y/N's work.~|

It was my break so I decided to sit on one of the bar chairs and just chill out for a bit. While relaxing and watching others, I noticed this odd couple walk into the restaurant and get seated. Of course my boss took me back to work as he told me I had to wait on that table with the strange family. I'm definitely not one to stereotype, but it seems like you're typical problematic family. But of course, I had to keep a open mindset, since I had no right to judge any family or anyone.

I go to their table with my notepad, doing my daily routine. "Hi! My name is Y/N, and I'll be serving you today! May we start off with some drinks?"  I smile, as they all say what they want. The mother then spoke." can you make sure there's a kiwi in my water and NOT. A lemon I hate lemons." I forced a smile." im very sorry ma'am but we are out of kiwis. Anything else you would like in ur drink?. " she gave me a death glare as if she was some kind of demon." You know what? If you don't want to do your Jobs then forget it. I'll have a Pepsi. " she scoffed and rolled her eyes. I just kindly walked away before I said something to her. After all, I didn't want to lose my job to some 40-50 year old women with a dumbass attitude. So I managed to keep my cool.

They eventually leave, as I was obviously in a bad mood after having to wait on them. They were quite scum bags and had little to no respect for anyone but them selves. Thankfully I learned how to put up with those type of people. Well, I honestly have to if I want to keep this job. Otherwise I won't have anywhere to go. A couple hours pass by and my shift was over, as I drive back to my house. I immediately change into my date night outfit in a hurry.

I hoped Rex wouldn't mind the lack of effort put into my outfit, but that was the least of my worries. I put on some slight blush and headed over to Rex's house.

X-Rays POV

I opened the door with a huge grin, as I looked Y/N up and down, whistling. "Yea yea, don't even try anything tonight, loverboy." I blush, as I hugged them. "No promises sweetheart~" I smirk and give a small kiss on their neck.

We head into the kitchen as take out was on the table, with a bouquet of roses on the table with a lit candle. I smiled and kissed them before having them sit down as we ate our food. Once we were finished, we went up to my room, as rose petals were spread around the floor and candles lit everywhere. I obviously mad this for them. To make it seem a little more like a actual date and not just like a small sleepover. I can see their grin on their face, as they kissed me passionately. The kiss lasted longer than expected as they pulled away smiling.
"I love you. You're the best thing that happened to me, Rex." they say as they kiss me once more. "I love you too Y/N. Ur the most amazing person ever!" We soon lay on the bed, and start cuddling. After a while it started to get a little heated.
