43 | loving life with you

After the two had their dinner and Jungkook cleaned up at his request. They both sat on the couch watching Chicago PD while Ara was asleep against Taehyung.

Hana dropped her and did not stay long. She chatted to Taehyung a little bit but asked no questions as Jungkook informed her not to. Taehyung appreciated that no one was asking him what happened, he really needed to rest, and he wanted to forget what happened, even if it was just for a little bit.

"Your game is next week, right?" The brunette whispered, looking up at Jungkook, who nodded.He felt nervous about the game. He was not able to get much training in with being in the hospital with Taehyung.

The latter planned to spend more time training with the boys. "Then afterwards is graduation", Jungkook hummed, playing with Taehyung's hair. "Two weeks away, that is crazy" Taehyung shook his head. It felt like he just started high school only a year ago.

Time flew by so fast. Now he was close to graduating, had a baby girl, and was in love with his best friend. He has known for a while. It could have been a possibility that this whole time he has always had feelings for Jungkook.

"Could you go put Ara in her crib?" He whispered to Jungkook, who nodded, scooping the baby in his arms and taking her to her baby crib. Jungkook and Ara have his heart entirely. There is no one more that Taehyung cares for than those two.

With his heart racing as the raven came back with a soft smile on his face, he turned towards him when the male sat down next to him."Can we talk?" The brunette questioned, worrying Jungkook when his voice dropped a little.

"Of course, we can. Is everything okay?" He questions, looking at the male next to him when he feels his hand get grabbed.

"I want to confess something." Jungkook had no idea what it could be. All he knew was that whatever the male was about to tell him was severe. He rubbed his fingers over Taehyung's hand. "What is it?" He questioned, eyes trained on the brunette. "I love you", He whispered, looking up at him with slightly teary eyes.

"I love you too, Tae."

"N-no, I mean... I love you more than just a best friend or friend.""I know we never talked about what happened between us, but to me, it felts so right", The brunette whispers. Taehyung felt relieved that he finally let it out.

"I know you may not feel the same. I just thought it would be best to tell you. I have known for a while. I did not want to destroy the friendship we have." Jungkook was in shock. He was not expecting this confession.

A bright smile plastered over his face as he brought the smaller male's hands closer to his lips, pecking them both slightly. "I feel the same way, Tae, I don't know when it started, but I think I realised it more when we made out at the party.

I have never felt that way when kissing someone before." The raven whispered. They both smiled at each other, leaning in until their lips were connected. The kiss was not fast, and there was no tongue. It was passionate and slow. Their hands brushed against each other as their lips moved.

Taehyung's finger brushed against the male's cheek until he reached his neck, cupping the side of it. Once they slowly moved back, they both let out a little chuckle. "Let's be together."

"As in? a relationship?" Taehyung questioned, smiling when Jungkook nodded. "Sounds good to me. Also, one more thing," The brunette whispered, fingers moving the male's hair out his face.

"Move in with me." The basketball player who never thought this day would come nodded quickly. "Yes, yes, yes, yes", Jungkook cheered, pecking the male's forehead, who giggled.

"When do I move my stuff in?" He questioned

"Whenever? We can make it tomorrow. I obviously won't be able to lift anything, but we could hire someone to bring your stuff in, and you can spend time putting stuff away?"

"That is a good idea. We will do that!" "Wow, how quickly life just changed", Jungkook muttered softly, eyes never leaving Taehyung's.

"For the better", They both whispered, their smiles never leaving their faces.
