"Sooga. Go back and save as many of those little shits as you can. I am not leaving anyone behind." The Master pleaded, getting up from the last blow he'd taken.

"Master, I cannot leave you here to die-"

"I'm not dying any time soon. And you're not dying either. Go. Please."

Sooga was hesitant. His heart was beating quicker... hands still on the hilts of his swords, ready to strike anyone who dared to touch his master.

"I will do my best to succeed, Master Kohga."

"Good, now jus-" He was cut off by a kiss. The most passionate one they had ever shared. The blademaster held his face close to his own. Kohga placed his hand on one of the ones holding his cheek and pulled away.

Sooga looked at him as if he had been looking past the wooden mask, "Be safe, my beloved." He whispered in a more demanding way than he intended.

"I'll see you back at the hideout!"

"I love you!" He screamed as Kohga ran towards the charging hollows. His master never responded, but he knew that what he was doing was his own way of saying it.

"I'm doing this because I love you."
