Something (In Between)

The underworld was quite a sight to behold, Jungkook had heard of many rumors from those who live in the land none of them could ever get the description right.

"What the hell are you doing in Tartarus, You insolent brat!"

The God lets out a chuckle at the greeting, sitting down beside the latter on his throne and wincing when he hears the howls of pain resounding from below them.

"I just wanted to check on you, Yoongi-ah."

"Ya!" the blond scowled out, standing up on his throne and raising his sword towards the God. "I've lived longer than you!"

"It's so noisy here." Jungkook complained out, hissing when another set of screams pierce through the air as he moves the sword pointed at him to the side. "It's a wonder how you manage with the heat too."

"This is Tartarus, Hades." Yoongi replied dryly as he plops back down on his throne and yawns in boredom. "If you wanted peace you should have gone to Elysium."

The underworld was divided into three main areas all of which are governed with appointed people that Jungkook was very fond of, where he was now; Tartarus was just a more pretty name for hell. This is the area where souls of grave sins get tortured again and again.

Elysium, as Yoongi had mention is the equivalent of paradise and of heroic and respectable souls. This area was governed by Namjoon, a close friend of the God. Jungkook usually spent his time there tending to the children and joining in nonsensical conversations when he was bored, because like most; he also gets fed up from chaos when he's constantly surrounded by it.

The midline of both levels is the Asphodel Meadows, closely associated with indifference as most souls end up first there. The primary care taker of such was a good friend of Hades, goes by the name of Kim Seokjin.

Jungkook lives near Elysium because that's where he relocated his castle, He used to stay near Tartarus but the howls of pain became so annoying to him that he moved farther.

The entry point of the underworld is terrifying, something the God of the Unseen will not deny because it was supposed to show the dangers of entering the underworld if you aren't a soul. Occasionally he'd sit there and wait for trespassers to tease but even that had become boring as he grew older. Not that he really had time for anything else.

"Your highness." the God turns his head to see a person bowing on his knees infront of the blond, Yoongi tilts his head in question.

"Speak." he urged out, Jungkook turns his head to glance down from the cliff the throne was placed on to stare at the pit of molten lava where souls were dropping from.

The big spinning wheel not moving to stop anytime soon as it wiped out another wave souls.

"Jungkook." Yoongi called out, allowing the God to twist his head and stare at him in question.

"There are people in Asphodel." he grunts out, scratching the scar on his right eye. Up until now Jungkook doesn't know where he got that. "looking for you. I think Demeter sent them."

"For God's sake." the God groaned out, his brows pinching together in stress. He gives a tight smile to the blond and nods his head in recognition. "Visit the Castle soon."

"Over my dead body, Pluto. Cerberus will eat me alive."

"That's a lie and you know it." Jungkook chuckled out, starting his long walk to the Asphodels Meadows.

He has some time to spare.
