Zeara just stared at him with a smile still on her face because she could see how much he actually liked her. She's never seen him joke and smile with anyone like this before
But once she broke out of that trance she locked her car before going next to Klaus. They made their way into the woods and ended up in this narrow little dirt path
It was covered in bright leaves that were crunching underneath their feet and the air was nice and light. It was silent and peaceful, something that they were comfortable with
They continued walking, giving quick silent glances while the other wasn't looking; that was until Zeara caught the hybrid staring at her and she looked back down at her feet trying to hide her now rosy cheeks
Being a witch she could partially sense what he was feeling, but the real magic she had was reading peoples body language
And so when Klaus all of a sudden looked up while gently grabbing her hand she felt the anxiety radiating off of him and could tell their stop was coming up
She was right. Two minutes later they stopped and she saw a blanket on the ground, along with two painting canvas, and little tubes of paint sprawled all over the blanket.
It was quite obvious that the two were going to paint and yes that was sweet, but what was really sweet is what Klaus said to her
Looking down a little, trying to hide his smile Klaus grabbed onto Zeara's hand a little tighter "When we first met you said you didn't have time to ever paint and you certainly haven't, so I thought that we could paint. Together"
The Velescos heart burst and she could feel the emotions gushing and right then and there

After about three hours of painting and quietly talking the two had now finished their paintings
Revealing them to each other they showed off their messy abstract paintings of the night sky and cars driving by
Once they cleaned up their Klaus decided he would walk Zeara back to her car, which the girl gladly accepted
Light of the moon was shining down on them and the leaves were still crunching under their feet
The air was cold but because she was with klaus it felt home somehow. And he felt the same way
Finally when the reached her car their hands gravitated towards the other persons, and Klaus stopped the brunette
"Zeara." He smiled and cupped both of her hands "You wanted me to do this properly, so my question for you is, would you like to be my girlfriend."
As he waited for the girl to answer his nerves started to creep in and especially when she slightly frowned with a half pity smile
But then her face formed into a big smile and she began slightly laughing "Yes I would love to be your girlfriend."
Without hesitating she leaned in to kiss him and he connected their lips almost instantly. The kiss was slow but passionate and both could feel every emotion put into the kiss and behind it
However after a few seconds Zeara pulled away and smiled at him "I'm sorry but it's just so funny to hear you say girlfriend because you're so old."
This comment made Klaus playfully gasp and chuckle "I assure you love I am not that old love." He smiled at her and spoke in a calm manner
His smile was contagious to Zeara and he loved seeing it, as it was a pretty rare thing to see. And so she grinned back before resting her forehead on his
With their foreheads pressed together Klaus had his hand on the girls hips, while her hands gently rested on the back of his neck. Breaking the brief silence between the two Zeara sighed quietly
"Please don't do anything stupid from now on. Because I really like you Klaus." She said whispering and closing her eyes
He heard her loud and clear though. And he was going to be sure he didn't mess this up
Because he also really liked her, and maybe even a little more than like
