Input type of learning

    - This is about data gathering. So, when learning a new language like English for example, this is the reading, listening and knowing the grammar.

Output type of learning

    - This is about doing what you gather. So, when learning a new language like English, this is the speaking, writing and translating.

What is the importance of this?

The significance of this is that in school, the teacher usually provide us with lots of inputs and when they gave us assignments, we complain because we tend to think of it as a burden to us. So, the input type of learning if we rate it from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest, most likely, this is 9.

But what about the output type of learning? If we rate this, most likely this is 1. So the ration of input to output type of learning is 9:1 which when we interpret as the teacher us really good but then, it was us the students who kept on complaining and don't want to improve. And in the end, we would complain on why aren't we good enough when we look for a job or do our work. It seems we did not learn anything. And the answer is right there. We did not do our part which is to practice. If we tried to look back during school days, from elementary to college, there is an English subject. So, the question is why can we understand the language but could not speak it fluently? The answer is simple. We did not practice. The ratio should be both near 10 or ideally should be 10:10. Agree?
