"Yeah, that's not creepy." Steve looked up at the Crill house.
"Theoretical speaking-" Scout began.
"Oh god." Tate braced himself.
"-if we find said demon Vecna, do we genuinely have a plan to kill him or are we just going to run?" she went on.
"Well, all we have are two hammers." Dustin stated to his cousin as he passed them to Nancy and Steve. "So, you're suggestions?"
"We have a Tate." she pointed to him behind her. "Vecna didn't bother him, remember? Like, he was scared."
"I'm scared of him too. The kids a psycho path with white hair." Robin pointed out.
"And a criminal." Lucas added.
"I'd like to point out that Scout got arrested for nearly killing an old man with her bike." Tate spoke up honest.
She wacked him in the arm. "I told you not to talk about that anymore."
He wacked her back. "Just the facts."
"Oh god, not you too." Lucas braced himself.
"I got arrested in the process of looking for you." Scout argued as they faced each other now, she shoved a finger toward him. "I could have left you in the Upside Down, but I didn't."
"You still got arrested." he hummed.
Smack.
"Oh!" Dustin gapped as Tate's face turned. She didn't even hit him hard, but it was enough to make a sound.
"Damn" Max laughed.
"Do not-" Scout threatened Tate with a finger to the face. "-belittle me for what I sacrificed for you. Everything I did, ruining my reputation, failing my classes, loosing my friends, getting arrested, was all for you."
"Did you just slap me?" he hummed with a comical look, motioning to the side of his face she hit.
"Had a bug on you." she said back bitterly.
"Did I?" he hummed before bringing his hand up and slapping her back. Like she did, it wasn't hard enough to hurt, only enough to make a noise and turn her face.
"Damn." Robin gapped.
"Ugh, no." Lucas shook his head.
"You had a bug on you too." he looked down at her.
"Did I?" she fought back a smile as she smacked his arm. "You had one there, too."
He slapped her shoulder. "Had one there."
"I did not!" she laughed, trying to smack him again as he caught her hands and pushed them away, trying to slap her before she ducked under his wrist.
"I mean, what exactly are we suppose to be looking for in this shithole?" Steve spoke up as he began to remove the nails while Tate and Scout calmed down finally.
