Astrid's P.O.V

"Astrid wake up, its your first day at school!" Shouted mum as I moaned."ugh, OK mum." I said as stormfly licked me, that's when I'm fully awake.

Rights now its 7 in the morning so I need to take a shower which should last half an hour however I know for sure that I'm going to take longer. I take my towel into the toilet and had a nice shower. I done my hair into braids like always and I wore my clean clothes. I went downstaits and ate breakfast.

"Take your time Astrid, darling stop stirring your food or you'll be late for your first day at your new school." Her mother said as she quickly finished her food and tied her shoe laces. " Mum what if no-one likes me at school. I'm scared mum." As I look into my mother's eye hoping she will say something.

" Astrid Hofferson, how dare you." Mum said seriously." How dare you say 'I'm scared'. The Astrid I know is never scared. " she carried on "mum your right I'm Astrid and i am not scared." I said confidently knowing that I'm going to be late for school if I don't leave the house now.

[At School]

I walk into school calmly and everybody is staring at me, I know I'm beautiful, just kidding. I feel nervous but I remembered what my mother said. I walked to my locker number 321 and put my coat in there. I stopped to my form room and knocked on the door.

"Come in," said the teacher, so I listened. The whole class went silent but I carried on walking to the teacher. " what's your name young lady?" Said the teacher." I'm Astrid, Astrid Hofferson." I said confidently." Hello Astrid I'm Mrs Murphy, its a pleasure to meet you. You can sit over there next to Hiccup." The whole class gasps and murmer 'that's Heather's seat, does it look like I care. " I'll move Heather to the front tomorrow." Said Mrs Murphy

"Um, hello Astrid I'm Hiccup Haddock." He said " Hello Hiccup, what a wonderful name." I said sarcastically, but I didn't mean to. I hope he never got it." Do you wanna be friends??" He asked quietly so no-one could hear, but they did." Sure." I said.
