On Our Way

This morning I woke up to my alarm going off at 3:30 Fucking a.m. bc today me and my best Friend Neveah are going on Vacation to the Bahamas for summer break. We have been best friends since the first day of kindergarten and now we are 19 and 20 years old living together in New York. Neveah has light tan skin with long straight brunett hair, her eyes are a light icey blue. Me on the other hand has green eyes with a hint of blue in them and medium length wavy dark black hair i also have light tan skin tho.

"VEAH"I yell as I get out of bed to see if she's awake. Then all the sudden my 5'0ft best friend walks in my room showered and fully dressed while on the other hand I just rolled out of bed.

"Yes Rosalie what do you want"She asks while continuing to do her makeup.

"Nothing just seeing if you were awake or not"I say as I walk into my bathroom to start getting ready.

"Oh ok"she's says as she walks and continues to do her Make-up. As soon as she left the room I got in the shower and washed my hair and body then I got out. Once I was out I put on a pair of sweats with a cropped tank top and an oversized hoodie my brother Cooper gave me before he died. After I was dressed I did some skincare and then put on some mascara and some lipgloss. Once I was completely ready I grabbed all my bags and brought them to the front door so they would be easier to grab then I made a bagel.

"ROSALIE ARE YOU READY"Neveah yells as she walks out into the kitchen.

"Yes I was just getting some food before we go also can we get Starbucks"I ask as we walk out the front door and get into the Uber.

"Yeah we can"She said as we set our stuff down.

~Time Skip to at the hotel~

When we got to the hotel we went straight to our room and unpacked everything and put it away.

"Ok so where to first the beach or shopping"My best friend asks as she sits on her bed.

"Shopping i need a new Cologne for this hoodie"I say as I point to Coopers hoodie. She nods understanding. Veah is the only person who knows about my brother Cooper besides my family. The only reason she knows is bc she knew me when it happened.

"Alright let me put on some shorts and a bathing suit top then we can go" She said as she walked over and gave me a quick hug before going into the bathe room and changing. While she did that I put on a black bathing suit that shows skin but not to much yet not to little either with a pair of ripped jean shorts then I put Coop's hoodie over it again bc it was a zip up one. Then Veah walked out she had on some loose fabric shorts and a white bathing suit on.

"You ready to go?"She asks as she grabbed her phone and sunglasses along with her card then putting on her shoes.

"Yup"I say as I finishing tying my shoe laces on my converse then grabbing my phone and card.

"Alright let's go to the mall first"She says as we walk out of the Hotel room.

~Time skip to at the mall~

Once we got to the mall I went straight to only store I knew always had his cologne Macy's. Yes ik it's basic but it was my brothers favorite so when I run out I bye more no matter how stupid it sounds. When I got out of the store I saw Veah waiting there for me.

"I got it"I smile as I take off the hoodie and spray some on it.

"Good I'm glad your happy"she's says as we start to walk.

"Where to now?"I ask as we walk.

"I was thinking about getting some new shoes wanna come to champs with me?"She says as we walk in that direction.

"Yeah I was thinking about getting some too"I say as we walk in and look at the shoes. I decided on a pair of Dark Mocha Jordan's cause I've always wanted a pair. Veah just got a plain black and white pair.

"Can we go to the food court?"I ask groaning.

"Yeah let's go"She says as we walk out of the store. When we go to the food court I get Panda Express and a Dr. Pepper while she gets some pizza and a Redbull.

"So after this wanna go swimming?" Veah asks as we throw our trash away

"Yeah let's go to the beach tho not the pool"I say taking a drink of my Dr. Pepper.

"Ok cmon let's go"She says as we walk. Then all the sudden while we were walking I run into something more like someone. As soon as I back away this is all I hear.

"What the fuck"it was a guys voice.

"Dude your fine"I hear another one say. When I look up I see a tall male who looks to be about my age.

"I am so sorry I didn't even notice you"I say in a worried tone.

"Yeah you should be sorry look what you did to my clothes"He says a angrily Damn what an asshole.

"Dude be nice. Hi I'm Asher"One of them says as he steps in front of the one who I bumped into.

"I'm sorry about Scott he can be kind of a dick sometimes"He says after a few seconds.

"It's fine. My names Rose this is Neveah"I say introducing me and Veah. The reason I told them my name is Rose is bc I only let my parents and Veah call me Rosalie. I let Cooper to but he's no longer here.

"Well it's nice to meet you two that's Anthony, Dylan, Silas and you met Scott"Asher says pointing to everyone as he says their names.

"Attention Shoppers the mall will be temporarily locked down while there is a near by shooting"The announcer says into the speakers.

"Wow just great"Veah says with sarcasm heavy in her voice.
