3rd Person POV

"This is our destination! DRAGON ROOST ISLAND!" King of Red Lions exclaimed.

As Link & Company approached the island, the mountaintop became clearer and Link saw atop of it......a dragon?

   "I'm seeing things...right?" Whispered Link.

"High atop this islands peak dwells the spirit of the skies...the descendant of the great dragon Volvagia, a majestic beast by the name of Valoo. Though Volvagia was evil, Valoo was hatched and raised by the King of the ancient land. He works with us against the evil of Ganon." KRL explained, "In order to have the power to save your sister, you must climb the mountain and request from him a jewel known as Din's Pearl."

"Wait I have to ask a DRAGON for help?!?" Exclaimed Link.

"Fret not Link, just tell him that the King of Red Lions has aided you. He may not speak the tongue of man, but he can understand it." Now go, Link...and Refsteus." The boat commanded.

"Alright then, c'mon Link! I'm going to scout ahead!" Refsteus said as he leaped out of the boat and ran ahead.

"Bye KRL." Link started walking toward Refsteus was examining a type of plant, when KRL's voice halted him,

"Ah! Wait Link! I almost forgot! Come here, so I may give you something." Link turned back around to KRL and inside the boat's dragon figurehead's mouth, was a...silver stick thing?

"This is the WIND WAKER! It is a baton of sorts used long ago when people played music as prayer to the Gods. In those days, using it allowed one to borrow the power of the gods, but I do not know whether it still functions or not. Even so, I thought it might be some use to you. Perhaps you should try using it now." Link reached in his mouth and drew the baton. It was pretty cool looking, and made of see sort of metal.

"I didn't really excel in music back at the island, just so you know." Link looked back at Refsteus...he was still looking intently at the strange bulb plant.

"Nevermind that, this is primarily rhythm based. Now conduct in 3/4 time. Match my head's movement." KRL swayed his head up, down, and to the right.

As Link copied him, the baton began to tingle, and he felt it vibrating in his grasp. Link felt power, gentle power, flow through his veins, and he heard a metronome in his head. As he moved the baton in the correct motions, he heard a choir singing. The Wind Waker popped colored sparks as he went to the next direction.

"Very good Link. That is basically all you need to know. 3/4 is the basic rhythm base for the Wind Waker. There is also 4/4, which is just 4 movements, in which it is customary to move your unused hand to the the right. Also 6/4, for your more difficult rhythms in which you move the unused hand to the right. Now go, I shall be waiting." KRL's eyes faded and he floated on the shore still.

"Hey Link! Check out this plant!" Refsteus called to him.

Link ran up to where he was at. The plant had four large leaves at the bottom, a head sized blue sphere thing, five white petals on top of that, and a yellow stem at the top.

"What is this thing?" Link asked.

"I have no clue, but this sign right here says something strange."

The sign read,

"DANGER!!!

Do not attack the explosive fruit!"
