"Oh no! Why I couldn't do it? It tastes awful!" Merliya said as she put the food on her plate away from her.

"You'll get better in no time. You know cooking is not easy, it takes time and practice to get better at something," Melody said, comforting the disappointed Merliya.

"Then what about Ethalia? She cooked only once and she already learned everything and it's very delicious! Why? *Crying*"

"I know how to cook. I always visit the orphanage in the Zycke Kingdom and I sometimes help mother Nadia in cooking so I know a little about cooking," Ethalia said, defending herself. Melody suddenly remembers that Ethalia is great at everything she does. 

She can learn everything so quickly. Even if it's sword fighting, martial arts movements, cooking, baking, etc., she can learn it all at a very fast pace. It's one of the reasons why Prince Trayvon falls in love with her more. She's a genius at everything!

After teaching them how to make pizza and when Merliya finally learned to cook it, they took a rest.

As they keep on chatting, they heard a loud sound coming from outside.

"What was that?" they all stood up and look outside the window.

It seems something exploded in the town. There's a fire coming from the market.

They quickly meet her grandfather and ask him what is happening and what happened to the people in the plaza.

"Don't worry my people took care of it. It seems an intruder arrived here," Melody's grandfather said, sitting leisurely in his rocking chair while drinking tea.

"Who are the intruders?" Melody asked.

"My long-time enemies. I've been hiding from them but they still found me but that's alright," he whispered but they still heard it.

"Is it because of me? They found you because of me?" Melody couldn't help but think that it was her fault. They might have followed her and found her grandfather.

If Melody remembers right, in the novel, it was mentioned that her grandfather has a hidden identity and he's been hiding that for so long so his enemy won't find trouble for him. At the end of the novel, it was never mentioned who is her grandfather. 

He was only mentioned three times since he helped the crown prince win the war. In the process, he almost lost his life.

"Oh no, my granddaughter! It's not your fault at all. I want to see my lovable granddaughter and I'm willing to bring you here. Even if they found me through you, they will always find me. Although it's sooner than expected, this is much better since I can get rid of them quickly," her grandfather said as he rub Melody's head who is starting to cry.

"*Sniff* It's indeed my fault. I'm sorry, grandpa because of me... because of me, they found you. I'm sorry," she couldn't help but feel guilty.

He started panicking when his granddaughter start crying.

"No, Melody. It's not your fault---" he couldn't apologize properly since his wife suddenly hit his head.

"Are you stupid or what? From what you said earlier, it looks like you're telling her that it's her fault. Stupid old man!" her grandmother said, scolding her foolish husband.

"Melody, don't cry. Your grandfather can handle those trespassers well. They are stupid intruders! They don't even know how much your grandfather can take them down if he orders so," she said as she comfort their adorable Melody.

"En, I know. It's just that---"

"No, don't blame yourself anymore, my child. For now, we must face those trespassers and end them as soon as possible. The problem is they're going to find you sooner, Melody."

"Who?"

"The wolves who keep on chasing you," his grandfather said as he went back to his seat.

"Wolves? Who?" Melody thought deeply about who is his grandfather talking about then he suddenly thought of the prince and his two subordinates.

She couldn't help but facepalm.

"You know about why I'm here, grandpa?"

"Of course, don't underestimate your grandfather's ability to gather information," he said, messing with her hair before he left.

"Melody, stay here with your grandmother. I'm going to put them in jail myself."

"Ok!" Melody answered.

After that, he quickly vanished from Melody's sight.
