14 - Feelings

"I trust the Lord eh. Sabi ni Mama, bad or good, trust the Lord." Niro replied and encouraged her.

"Okay... Pray for me."

"You pray for yourself."

"Eh..."

"Love."

"Fine." Her little hands placed the phone in the bed and clasped her hands. Eyes closed, then whispered.

She sighed after praying and then picked up the phone again. "Kunyari pang ayaw mag pray, kala ko nga you're asleep na!"

She laughed a little and opened her door. She was greeted with a dark empty alley and stairs. Her fear came back again. Pero napaisip lang s'ya. Kung totoo ang multo na kinakatakutan n'ya, eh di probably, totoong totoo rin si God. Eh di! Panalo na s'ya!

With that thought, she sighed. "Cheer mo ko, Niro."

"Kaya mo yan! Isipin mo pakatapos mo pumunta ng kusina kukuha ka ng foods sa ref!"

"Di ako pwede kumain pag bedtime na."

"Wala naman sila."

Slowly, she reach the stairs and step down, step by step.

"Ganito na lang, kada step, may tatanong ako." Said Niro on the other line.

"Okay, I have six step left."

"Hmm, sige sige. English tong mga sagot ha! Hmm, what's the two window that only has one view?"

"Psh, easy. Eye."

Clover step down.

"Hmm, ano yung tawag sa room ng mga higschool kapag subject nila chesmitry!"

"Huh? Uhm, nadaanan ko yun eh! Labotatory- Lab!"

Clover smiled and hop at the fifth stairs.

"Wow very good. Eh ano namang tawag sa nakikita noong dalawang window?"

"Huh?" Sandali s'yang napatigil at napaangat ang tingin sa kisame, two window? Ah! After a few seconds ay napangiti agad s'ya. Akala siguro nito ni Niro mauutakan s'ya.

"Eh di view!!"

"O, make a sentence using your answers naman."

"Akala ko questions lang?"

"Question yan, tignan mo. What sentence can you make using your answers? Ohh panis!"

Napailing iling si Clover at saka sinubukang i recall ang mga sagot.

"Hmm, eye, lab, view?"

Niro chuckled. Clover's eyes widened. Naisahan nga s'ya! "Psh Niro! Ang rami mong tricks."

"Ganyan 'pag gwapo!"

"Eww."

"Gawin mo rin yan sa crush mo."

"No! So corny baka di na ulit ako kausapin hmp... So I made a sentence na pala..."

Clover reach the fourth stair, she breath in and glance at the doorway of the kitchen. Sumisilip ang island counter at sigurado s'yang dito n'ya ito narinig. Maroon at black pa naman ang interior ng bahay nila kaya lalong nag pataas ng balahibo n'ya!

"Okay next question. Ten tenenen ten tene-! Sino crush mo?"

"Psh, alam mo naman na!"

"Sabi nina Trixie may iba kang crush! Ang daya, ba't di mo sa'kin sinasabi? Una mo naman akong naging bestfriend? Pinapalitan mo na ba 'ko?" Niro said. Grumpiness is evident in his tone, but Clover knew him well. He's teasing her.
