ACT I:

FADE IN

INT. THE IVYWOOD INN; LATE AFTERNOON.

(MONTHS BEFORE)

TESS:

We should play a game.

THEO:

Like what?

TESS:

How about 20 questions?

(The group all nods their heads in agreement as they sit around the main room's hearth.)

THEO:

Who wants to go first?

CLOSE UP TO PILOT

PILOT:

(Excited)

I guess I will! I am a robin, I am Kate's messenger bird. I am quite clumsy and am very quick thinking. I have a very basic command of vocabulary for sending messages back and forth. Kate is my only friend as is I am to her. I live here in Waters Rose, Brooksview. Your turn.

(PILOT points to THEO who was next in the circle.)

THEO:

(Cheerfully)

Hey everybody. I am Theo. I am a human, I am also Tess's best friend and fellow co-writer. I can be quite shy sometimes yet a happy and caring person. I am also quite a well-educated person, I truly enjoy writing stories and painting. Tess is my only friend as is I am to her. I live in Ohio, USA.

(THEO points to LEVI who was next to him.)

CLOSE UP TO LEVI

LEVI:

Heya, I am Levi. I am a human. I am Hope's best friend and significant other. I am quite an outgoing person and loves to truly explore the outdoors. I am a very fun person to be around, I can tend to drink a little too much at times (I spend too much time drinking while I fill orders at The Traveling Tavern.) I live here in Waters Rose, Brooksview.

(LEVI chuckles as he smiles at PANDORA who was next to go.)

PANDORA:

(Happy)

Hi, I am Pandora. Nice to meet you all. I am an elf, I am Kate's best friend. I am also Gwen Rose's older cousin. I am a very loveable person and have the quickest thinking when it comes to solving problems or fixing an argument that my friends have. I do tend to talk a little too much when I get excited. I live here in Waters Rose, Brooksview. 

(BETH chuckles as she smiles at PANDORA's introduction)

Hey, I am Kate. I am a human, I am also Pandora's best friend. I am a great person, I also adore everyone I meet and love to be creative when it comes to drawings of the town. I tend to be very awkward at first due to my quietness. I live here in Waters Rose, Brooksview.

(KATE smiles at GWEN ROSE warmly, signaling to her that it was her turn to introduce herself to the group)

Hey, I'm Gwen Rose. Nice to meet you. I am a kelpie, which is a shape-shifting spirit. I am also Pandora's younger cousin. I tend to be a goofball at times and have a small hatred towards some of the members of the group but not for long. 😉 I live here in Waters Rose, Brooksview.

(GWEN ROSE pats BASIL on the head implying that it was her turn to go next.)

BASIL:

(Sleepy, yawns/stretches before starting to talk)

Hi. I am Basil. I am a wolf. I am also Kate's loyal companion, and therapist when no one is around. I have a very outgoing and loving personality. I love to help people, even if it is just simply carrying a basket down the road. I live here in Waters Rose, Brooksview.

(BASIL licks HOPE's face as if they were saying, "Your turn")

HOPE:

(Sweet/Cheerful)

Hey, I'm Hope. I am a Dracotaur, a half-dragon, half-human. I am Tess's best friend. I am very laid back and one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. My personality is also a mix of bubbly and occasional quietness when I am truly sick of everyone. I live here in Waters Rose, Brooksview.

(HOPE smiles at BETH as she takes a sip of her tea)

Hi. I'm Beth. I am a Centaur, half-horse, half-human. I am Basil's "best friend" and a smart alec. I am Kate's younger sister. My personality can be seen as very charming and strenuous. I live in Waters Rose, Brooksview.

(BETH forces a smile as she glares at TESS, who is the last to go)

(THEO grabs her hand, gives it a quick squeeze, and does not let go.)

(Quite nervous, avoiding eye contact, soft spoken)

Hey, ur uhm hello everyone. I am a Human. I am a creative writer and Theo's best friend. I am the careful one, meaning I am very careful about literally everything I do. My personality is as vibrant as anyone you could ever meet. I live in Ohio, USA.
