Shido was stuck on the ground, shocked as he watched the black wings like jet spray stretching dozens of meters, tearing the asphalt and scraping against its surroundings. And ripped them. The black wings can be seen from a distance where they are from. He was worried about the attention it may have received, but the main priority was his next course of action.

"Sandalphon, Han-" Shido stood up, fighting his struggling mind and body as he declared to summon his weapon and power until he heard cricking and cracking.

Shido was hit with a massive force and was buried in the asphalt.

Shido fell through the ground as if it were quicksand, crushing him deep into the ground, then the material trapped his body. Shido was trapped as he was stuck deep in the ground. The material trapping him up to his torso prevents him from moving. His body was completely buried under the ground, leaving half of his torso exposed to the air.

It was a result of Accelerator instantly reaching out his right hand and manipulating the vectors to change their direction, concentrating on him at one point, and attacking him with it.

Shido was now trapped both physically and mentally. The feeling of being trapped on the ground is similar to being buried in the sand on a beach. Then there is his mental state. His sight and mind were focused on the sight of Accelerator and his black wings. He couldn't help but stare at the overwhelming scene. It was scary and amazing at the same time.

Accelerator's pair of black wings grew larger as it reached the sky, almost reaching up to the mesosphere. Tearing everything, the Earth rumbled like an aftershock, and the switchyard on their battlefield shook ominously, followed by multiple small explosions caused by the collision of the wings and electricity. Luckily for both of them, Accelerator, despite not looking like it, is still trying his best to contain the black wings.

Shido was speechless aside from the sight, as he felt a sense of déjà vu with this scene. He focused on the white demon's eyes. It felt like that roar was hiding something. He continued to struggle out of the ground, but it was pointless as his mental state was glued to the monster and his body was getting weakened. All he could do was pray that it wouldn't get worse.

The clock was ticking for Shido as he desperately tried to think of a way to get out. As he saw his black wings, based on their size, he could tell that they could be seen even from a far distance. He was worried that a spacequake alarm would trigger and people might arrive.

The king of demons known as Accelerator slowly walked toward Shido, effortlessly carrying a raging pair of black wings on his back. Shido tried to resist, but it was useless. At the moment Accelerator reached Shido, he mercilessly flung his fist into Shido's face many times with both arms, one after another.

Receiving each blow, Shido was helpless as every time he saw a glimpse of Accelerator, it looked like an angry demonic dragon on revenge.

"Is this really how you want to end things?" Shido asked, weakly receiving each of Accelerator's blows.

"Metatron," Shido weakly said before receiving the final blow. Accelerator's next blow missed, and in an instant, Shido disappeared from the ground.

Shido used his power to teleport to another spot right behind him. He summoned Sandalphon and wielded it. Despite being able to fight, his body was frozen in fear, his mind choosing flight over fight.

"I have to fight her. If I can't fight her one-on-one, I can't look my friends in the eyes. Yes, yes, it was thanks to my friends that I have this power, and with their help, I can defeat you," Shido said as he charged Accelerator's back with a roar, wielding Sandalphon.

Accelerator heard the sounds of running footsteps and screams coming from behind him. He didn't need to turn his back as his wings spread explosively. They stretched to more than one hundred meters all at once, and he swung them down towards his attacker. With a great noise, that strike held the power to split a skyscraper in half vertically and came down, slicing through the air aiming toward the charging Shido.
