"Mom Aidan stole my iPad again." Sapphire whines walking into the kitchen.
"Aidan give your sister her iPad back!" I yell.
Sapphire walks out of the kitchen proudly.
I roll my eyes and laugh at her.
She was only thirteen but she had the spirit of a thirty year old.
My iPhone dings and I pick it up to answer it, Nathan.
"Hey babe I'm gonna be a little late but I promise this is the last time." He says through the phone.
"Ok, I miss you." I say.
"I miss you too." He says.
"Ok I gotta go I'll see you later." He says.
"Bye." I say sadly.
I hang up the phone and sigh loudly.
Dayton my five year old son walks in and climbed up onto one of the counter high stools.
"Hey buddy what's up?" I ask him.
"When will daddy be home?" He asks.
"Well um.. daddy's gonna be late tonight." I say.
"This is the fifth time this week." Dayton says.
"I know but he has some business to take care of." I say.
"Ok." Dayton says getting up and leaving.
'What is Nathan doing?' I ask myself.
Whenever he comes home he seems nervous around me and he won't tell me what's going on.
For the last week or so he's been distant and on edge.
I don't know what's going on but I'm getting answers tonight.

It was already past twelve pm when I heard a car pull up the driveway.
I stand by the door and wait for Nathan.
He unlocks the door, turns the light on and jumps when he sees me standing there.
"Hey baby you didn't have to wait up for me." Nathan says walking over to me and hugging me.
My arms stay at my side even though I wanted to hug him.
"What's wrong?" He asks pulling away.
"What's wrong?" I all but scream at him.
"What's wrong is that you have been 'working' late every night for the past week and I didn't want to think what I thought of you but I think it just might be true." I say on the verge of tears.
"What did you think of me?" He asks.
"Are you cheating on me?"
"What?! You know I would never do that to you." He yells getting angry.
"Well all week when you come home your on edge and nervous around me." I say wiping my tears away.
"Baby I would never cheat on you." Nathan says hugging me.
This time I hug him back and cry onto his shoulder.
"Then what's going on?" I ask.
"Well you know the pack that we've been thinking of bringing into our pack?" He asks me.
I nod my head and he continues.
"Well they decided to join us so I had a lot of paper work to sort out." He explains.
"Nathan I'm so sorry for thinking that." I say hugging him.
"And I have a surprise for you." He says smiling.
"What?" I ask.
He pulls some paper out of his pocket and hands it to me.
"Passports?" I ask confused.
"Yes. I'm taking you away for a week of relaxation." Nathan says kissing me softly.
"Where to?" I ask.
"Greece." He says smiling at me.
"Thank you." I say wrapping my arms around his neck and kissing him softly.
"I love you." I say resting my head against his forehead.
"I love you too." He says kissing me again.

Just being on the same beach with the same white sand between my toes and the clear water brought back memories of our honeymoon.
"I love you." Nathan says kissing my cheek.
"I love you too." I giggle pushing him a little.
He stumbles into the water a little and starts running after me.
I run as fast as I can from him.
He tackles me to the ground and starts tickling me.
"Stop it." I giggle.
"Stop, it." I squeal.
He finally stops tickling me and before I can do anything his lips are on mine.
He pulls away and smiles at me.
"I love you." He says kissing me again.
"I love you too." I say smiling.
