Oh I forgot to mention that Sarah just hurt her ankle she hit it on a pipe when we were by those other boats I'm actually surprised that I have to support her so she doesn't fall and not Cj I look over at Cj to see her running with Cleo "I got you,I got you"I whisper to her
"you should be making sure cj is ok not me"she says with a laugh "she's fine look at her she doesn't even look like she was shot you know what it probably is?"I ask with a whisper I look at her "jj"we both say "I got an uncle who works at this marina were safe here. "too soon for goodbye's, y'all I'll be right back!"she says running to get the keys "do we have enough gas"Sarah ask "um we should be good if the wind is behind us"I tell her "let's hope it is"Sarah says moving her hair out of her face "this is the first time I've been in the water since the crash"as Cj says
that we see a light pointed at us "hey! You there! Put you hands up"the officer says while cocking his gun at us he walks towards us "please they didn't do anything"Sarah tells him just then Cleo whacks the guy upside the head with a oar making him fall "hey! Stop! Get down!"he yells as Cleo runs towards us
"no!"she says when he grabs her ankle he kicks him in the face and throws me the keys "go! Get out of here!"she tells us Cj sits in the floor as I start the boat "hey!stop get back here!"he yells as Cleo jumps in the water Sarah pushes the boat off while I untie it "I'm gonna shoot"the officer says seeing Cleo swim in the water we drive off hearing gunshots Sarah looks back to make sure Cleo was ok we bend down a little bit hearing a bullet hit the bar on the of the boat
3rd person POV
Cleo pops up from the water quietly watching the officer shooting at the boat as it was driving off eventually he stops as they were too far away she smiles proudly
Jj's POV
We got the truck fixed and now we were parked in the middle of a field I had my hat over my eyes I feel someone grab my tiny bottle of alcohol out of my hand it hasn't been awkward between me and Kie but I'm definitely keeping my distance I'm not ready to get into a relationship right now and besides I only think of Kie as a friend
but I do get a tiny bit jealous of Kie and pope cause they have each other and I had found my person my everything and now she's gone I guess that's why I couldn't sleep just thinking my cupcake thinking about how I should been with how I should have never left her side I should have protected her she's....dead because of me "goodnight everyone"Pope says

I take off my hat to see Kie kiss Pope's cheek I sigh putting it back on I put my hands in my pockets feeling cj's inhaler I don't know why but I still keep it gives me some sort of comfort "goodnight"she says
Cj's POV
It's around 6:30 and me and Johnny have been up for a little while well he's been up all night since he's driving the boat I woke up around 2:30 am i had a nightmare about Jay I decided to tell John b about it
"so I was reunited with him right and I run to give him a hug and he pushes me away saying he doesn't love me anymore of he doesn't need me anymore cause he's moved on"I tell her tears rolling down my face "Cee you know JJ cares about you more then anything he would never do anything to hurt you"I nod and smile
"you right thank John b"he laughs "all right this is the gulf stream it's gonna take us north right home"he tells us when he sees Sarah awake he walks towards her as he stops the boat "home"I whisper holding on the my abdomen I couldn't help but feel sad so I decided to go back to sleep
John B's POV
"Hi"Sarah says when I sit in front of her "how you doing?"I ask her looking at her ankle "never better"she says smiling"you know what I was thinking?"she ask "what's that?" "Let's get married"I see cj pop up walking towards us
"don't we need a...a like preach or something "ooh can I be that"we laugh but nod "what about the rings?" I ask "What about rings?" She says Cj pulls out a bandana out of her backpack "I mean for future reference,I like princess cut.i like emerald cut"she tells me "I got an idea"CJ says handing me the bandana I rip it "princess cut.My favorite"she says with a gasp "I give you this sweaty piece of my father's bandanna that cj kept for me thank you Cee"she nods with a giggle
"as a token of my love"she hold her hair up as I put it on her "it's perfect"she says as I sit back down "yeah" I say I think Cj wanted to give us space cause she moved back to the other side of the boat "by the power vested in me,by the sky and the stars and the sea,I now pronounce us husband and wife."she says
"through sickness and health, through rich and poor, till death do us part."I add as we make eye contact "you may kiss your bride"good thing cj is sleep I kiss before she ask "can we get a dog?"I laugh "ok Sarah let's just get home first how about that"I tell her "let's get a dog"she says again "ok"I give in
Cj's POV
Me, Johny and Sarah switch spots since they have more space to hug and hold each other as they were saying their vowels I sobbed quietly thinking about jj I just wish he was here and I feel like Johny and Sarah are getting tired of me and I'm in pain not just physically but mentally to and I'm just tired of it so now John b is driving again the sun was out now me and Sarah are playing would you rather when I hold my abdomen and say
"land" "looks like it a pretty big town"John b says "should we try and find somewhere less crowded"Sarah asks "were almost out of fuel we don't have a choice"he says she stands up and walks over to him putting her head on his shoulder I frown and look forward with tears in my eyes "we made it look it's Charleston"he says
Jj's POV
We're on the Charleston bridge on the way to limbery's house I've kinda been quiet since last night "wonder where John b and Sarah are right now"I ask me eyes red as I just smoked a joint I look at Pope and Kie
