Run. Don't look back. Her feet mindlessly patted against the cold concrete floor. She wasn't made for thinking, so why did she think so hard on this? Why was she so desperate? Why did she need out of here?
She was tired and her small body demanded that she be panting the whole way there. She was also scared, terrified. She wanted for it to be over. Damnit which way again?
She turned left, following the vague map she had only in the form of a memory in her head. She had created this only from her short and agonizing trips down these hallways, she had little idea still where she was going. She just hoped these memories where right.
She halted, grasping her mouth with her palm, looking around frantically as she heard his massive footsteps. They weren't approaching her, however, so she would be safe, for now.
She continued, her legs becoming tired as she couldn't help but slow down. She kicked back up however when she was met with a large door in her path. Getting down on her elbows and knees, she slithered and slid under the door, being small enough to do so.
There she was met with it. The thing that was going to save her.
The machine resembled a pumping human heart, liquid moving from in it and out it through tubes.
She shivered, something felt off as she began to climb the massive table that sat next to it. She needed to find the switch or button or lever or whatever turned the machine on.
stomp
stomp
He finally noticed her absence, she frantically searched.
Stomp
Stomp
Closer, and closer he got. She growled. Where was the damn switch..button..lever..THING!!
STOMP STOMP
As the door swung open she noticed a small button at the center of the pump.
She grabbed onto a wire, using what little bodyweight she had she swung back and fourth, letting go and soaring through the air. She clung onto the machine and climbed up and up, her eyes locked onto the button. As she reached her small hand over the perfectly sized button, she couldn't help but look back at him.
The flash of his cold blue eyes and the sting of pain she felt as she smashed the button down.
Everything was black.
DU LIEST GERADE
Darker Places (Original Story)
FantasyThis has slight inspirations from, Undertale, Star vs The Forces of Evil, My Little Pony, and the Owl House!! This has been a story I've been developing in my own head since 2016, and I'm finally glad I'm beginning to write it all down!
