Naruto's POV
I took a deep breath as I entered my science classroom. Avoiding eye contact from Gaara and Neji, I sat down in my seat, sulking and embarrassed. Ino sat by me and immediately realized something was wrong. "Naruto? Why are you so tense? Did something happen with one of them?", Ino asked while popping a vessel. "Not necessarily? ... Me and Neji are on better terms, but I'm sure the others hate me with every cell in their body. Especially, Garra." I looked away from her prying eyes. "Hmmm..Alright, but come to me if they ever bother you- OK!?", Ino said furiously. I nodded my head and smiled, I'm honestly very grateful for Ino, I wouldn't have survived middle school without her...
I can't focus at all. I'm constantly worried about what Gaara and Neji are doing. What if they're mocking me?! No, Neji wouldn't do that. I hope. "Something bothering you Naruto?", The science teacher looked at me with question. "No miss.", I said back. The class moved on and at some point I suddenly got tapped on the back. "Pst. Naruto- Are you feeling alright?" , Neji who had apparently moved seats, was sitting behind me looking very worried. I chuckled mentally. "I might feel better if you walk home with me today.", I said a s a j o k e.
"Bet."
Garra was staring. I couldn't tell if it was out of rage or surprise, but he seemed to keep a eye on me and neji for the rest of the day
~Time skip to end of the day lol~
AGHHG! Rain has the worst timing ever! I didn't bring an umbrella to school because it was sunny at first.. Almost everyone had already left, Ino rode the bus today, so no use going to her. I pouted outside as I sat in the shade waiting for the rain to stop. "Naruto? What are you still doing here?", I spun my head around and saw Neji. "NEJI MY HERO!! Can you pleaaasee let me go under your umbrella!" Neji laughed softly, like an angel.. "Of course, beside if it'll make you feel better, hm?", I felt my face light up and I followed Neji out onto the street in the rain.
