MAYBE IT WAS A MISTAKE

Natapos ang interview at fan sign na nangyari at ang gusto ko na lang ay umuwi dahil nakakapagod makakuha ng tingin galing sa Dwight na yun.

Naglalakad ako papunta sa sasakyan ko nung nakita ko na flat yung isa kong gulong. Wow, ang galing naman talaga puro bad vibes napupunta sa akin ngayon.

Tinawagan ko si Brent para sunduin ako kaso busy raw siya sa training, hindi ko naman alam number ni Ricci dahil nung nag loko cellphone ehh nag factory reset at hindi naman naka-back up contact nun ni mokong. And besides, I don't really know if we are still the same as before. Kaya wala na ako magawa kung hindi tumamabay sa loob ng sasakyan ko, at mag scroll sa social media. After that press conference I got many followers, and they said that out-of-stock na yung book ko sa online orders and stuff.

Brent called me while I was doing nothing inside my flat car. "Dummy, I'm here. Get out of your car na mukha ka na diyan baliw." He said when I answered his call. I got of my car and saw him with Jollibee on his hand. "Pang bawi ko, for not being there with you."

"Pangs, gets ko naman kung bakit. May training ka po, we're good. Pero akin na ito." I said and snatched the Jollibee paper bag. He opened the car door for me and closed it for me as well. He drove his car, papunta sa may UP. The sunken garden.

"Bakit tayo nandito?" I asked and he just shrugged his shoulders. "I needed some air, and I just want your company." Tumango ako, and I understand what he meant by that. Nalulungkot siya about something na ayaw niya sabihin at hindi mo mapipilit yan na sabihin bakit siya nalulungkot. After like thirty minutes or something I finished the food, he gave me. "Whooo busog, sarap! salamat pangs, the best ka talaga." Right after that he smirked and nodded, which I don't know what it meant.

So I gave him quiet mode, just for giving him space. Baka sa akin pa kasi mailabas galit niya. "The best?" He asked...

So I nodded, he got the answer, but he really didn't face me.

"Kung ganon? Bakit ang manhid mo?" He asked again...

At dun na ako napaisip, ano ibig niya sabihin dahil hindi ko na naiintindihan.

"Brent Paraiso.... Don't go around the bush... Tell me straight to the point hindi ako mang huhula." I said calmly but I gave him the hint that I am getting irritated. 

"Elliana Corpus... Pangs, baby? ching-ching? wala ka ba talaga nararamdaman? Manhid ka ba talaga? Kasi ako tumindi yun nung nasa Las Vegas tayo."

He's calling me with the nicknames we used. Asaran nicknames, but then why do I have a feeling there's something more about him saying those nicknames. "Lia ko, gusto ko na sabihin pero natatakot ako."

Huh? Hindi ko na naiintindihan..

"Saan ka natatakot?" I asked him so fucking confused.

I saw him tearing up, that's the first time I saw him tear up. "Please, I don't want this to feel anymore. Stop hurting me more." He said and he looked me straight in the eye. "Bakit pag kasama kita, I always feel like hindi ka pa rin moved on sa kaniya, why did it felt like nung nasa Las vegas tayo siya iniisip mo. Siya yung kasama mo." Hindi ko mawarian kung lasing ba siya o sadyang lutang lamang ako.

"I watched the recording, and I saw you on how you look at him. May love pa rin for him ano?" He talked again na unti-unti na nag sink in sa utak ko. He is talking about Dwight Ramos. "Can't you see? Why I all do this stuff for you?"

"Bakit nga ba Brent?" Tanong ko na nag tataka na. "Kasi gusto kita, pero parang wala naman talaga akong pag asa, parang langit at lupa yung pagitan natin kahit na magkasama tayo halos araw-araw na nga ohh."

His confession shocked me. "I like you, from the moment I get to be close to you. I tried my best to conceal it. Pero hindi ko kaya, na nasasaktan ka sakaniya kung andito naman ako handa kang mahalin."

I was quiet the whole time after he confessed. And we are still at the sunken garden. Nalaman ko na lang na hinila na niya ako sa loob ng sasakyan at hinatid sa place ko. We didn't talk to each other during the ride to my place, unusual. Kasi we are usually madaldal, maingay. Nakakapanibago!! We didn't even said are usual goodbye, see yah tomorrow lab yuh type..

He just dropped me off sa harap ng bahay koand that's it. I was so lutang, kaya ilang minuto ako nakatayo sa harap. Ayaw ko pumasok, kasi hindi ko alam ang gagawin ko, di ko rin alam ano ang nangyare. Nung mahimasmasan ako dun ko na binalak pumasok ng bahay.
