MAYBE IT WAS A MISTAKE

Pag dating namin sa pilipinas hinatid niya lang ako pa uwi tapos dahil sa jet lag buong araw akong tulog. Buti na lang wala akong need gawin sa work dahil inaasikaso na nila ang pag publish ng libro na sinulat ko.

Then they published it a week before Christmas. So my Christmas week/day is kind of a busy thing dahil may pa interview event na agad agad. As far as I know kasi marami nahumaling sa librong sinulat ko, in other words maraming tao raw ang naka-relate sa akin. Insisted ni Clara the publisher na mag mini Interview ako.

It's gonna be fun plus big break yun sa katulad ko. I am currently here in Ayala mall for the interview, at fan sign event na rin. Nakaka-twenty na ata akong libro na pinipirmahan at nawawalan na ako ng gana kakapirma. Tumingin ako sa cellphone ko dahil dapat kanina pa yung pa-Q&A kaso wala pa rin hanggang ngayon.

"I helped you get an inspiration, can you sign mine?" Napatingala ako sa nag salita at as usual panira ng mood. "It's based on a true story right, I mean from my perspective it looks like it's based on it." Ngumiti ako sa kaniya pero halatang pekeng ngiti ito. "I'm glad to sign your copy, but dear don't assume it's all about you." Sabi ko kay Dwight habang pinipirmahan yung libro niya.

"I'll stay here for the interview, it's an interesting book." Dagdag niyang sabi at kinindatan ako tapos umupo dun sa may first row seat. Na mismo sa tapat ko, awesome.

"Ms. Corpus, we will start na po. Live po tayo ah." Bulong nung isang production stuff sa akin na tinanguan ko at nag handa.

"Welcome everyone thank you for coming to this fan sign event. We will immediately start with the questions fan asked on social media and we will take some questions here too." Sabi nung host at tumingin sa akin. "We are here with Elliana Corpus the author of the book that you guys loved. So, Elliana please introduce yourself to those people who don't know you yet." Tumango ulit ako at kinuha yung mikropono na nasa harapan ko.

"Hi, everyone thanks for being here and for those watching us live. So I am Elliana Corpus who graduated La Salle with a degree in English." Binaba ko yung microphone at yung mga tao ay pumalakpak. "Tell us about the book Elliana."

"Well the book is about a girl who fall's for the idea of being in love. When she actually fall for the guy, it turned out that the idea was cruel and not real." Nag aww yung mga tao na nasa harap namin. "Wow, it is deep just hearing that."

"Ok I have here a question from @/eliramos" just by hearing the username I already know who it is, it is his brother. Tumingin ako kay Dwight at nakangiti siya sa akin ngayon. "Eli asked, if you are the main character what would you change for you to have a happy ending?"

"Wow, it seems like Eli finished the book already. Well I want the guy to be honest with me, why he did what he did. Because you all know in a relationship trust is important, communication and all other stuff without it you'll fall apart. Meaning the whole relationship won't work." Nag palakpakan naman yung mga tao at nakita ko na tumango si Dwight. "Another question from @/ricciiirivero" napatawa naman ako sa reaction nung host dahil nag comment ng tanong si Ricci. "How are you raw? And how did you managed to move on from a heartbreak."

"HAHA, it's funny that he asked that, parang walang alam cci? Anyways, I moved on by focusing on myself how I will be a better person. How will I pursue the goals we both dreamed. So basically, achieving it all but all alone. At Ricci ayus lang ako we should hangout soon, I miss you pare." Sabi ko sa camera sabay ngiti. "Ang dami mo palang friends na sikat author." Sigaw nung isa kong fan sa may bandang likod. "Si Brent at Ricci lang ang kilala kong sikat and they were really good at me when we were in university until they transfer. Mga mang iiwan yan mga yan ehh, hindi niyo sila dapat jinojowa, joke!"

"We have here Dwight Ramos he is the only famous person here. What can you say about him?" Tanong nung host out of the blue. "I'm glad that someone like him read my book." Simple kong sagot tapos bigla nag taas ng kamay si Dwight na tinanguan ng host.

"While I was reading the book, I understand the girl's character. But shouldn't you as an author, know the boy's character perspective too why he did such thing?" Tanong niya na hindi ko na ikinagulat.

"Oh that, if the boy explained maybe. But he didn't that's why they cut ties sa kwento. No closure and other stuff, klarong klaro na they should've ended it. Or should I say they weren't supposed to even start that relationship." At ayun ang mokong natahimik.
