Chapter 10

Beck's POV

I felt so bad for Tori. She's so pretty. She doesn't need makeup. Last night was great. She's at school today but she told me she didn't want to go because she wasn't feeling happy today and I felt bad. I decided to take her out to hang out tonight. I am really excited. I want to help Tori. I'm going to help her the best I can. I know she likes to sing. I texted her and said I would take her out to a karaoke bar and if she wants to sing she can. I know that she gets a bit nervous but she was amazing during the big showcase so she should be fine. I had a feeling that she was suffering but I didn't want to make assumptions. "Hey sweetie." Mom said and hugged me. "Mom, I'm going out later." I said. "Ah, are you hanging out with Alyssa?" Mom asked. She knows that I'm very good friends with Alyssa. "Nah, another friend of mine. Tori." I said. "Ah, the girl with the pretty cheekbones who sang at the big showcase?" Mom asked. I nodded. "I like her." Mom said. She's never even met her properly. Wow. Tori really makes me happy. I'm sorta starting to crush on her.

Tori's POV

Beck texted me asking to hang out and I said yes. I'm really excited. I don't feel ready to tell him the truth about me yet. I was eating lunch when Jade came over. "Someone is happy." She said. "I'm hanging out with Beck tonight." I said. "Ooh, does someone have a crushy-wushy on Becky-Wecky?" Jade teased. "Of course not!" I said and walked away. I'm starting to think about it and maybe I do have a crush on him. I'll think about it later.
