Katie: you have a meeting.... shit! I knew I shouldn't have showed up here unexpected. sorry I didn't mean to inconvenience you , I should get going.

Devin: don't be ridiculous Katie... you showing up here is the best surprise iv had in a long time. you don't know how excited I got when I saw your beautiful face. there was no inconvenience at all.
I blushed then looked down. he lifted my head back up gently with his finger.
Devin: how about you wait here for me until my meeting is over then I can take your out for lunch?
I stood there in his arms and thought for a while. then I had a sudden realization of what was really going on. oh god I almost kissed him! where is my brain?! seems like when I get around him all my worries fly straight out the window. at first I was mad as fuck when that Brenda chick busted into the room but now I couldn't be any happier. she saved me from a big mistake.
" well?" he said knocking me out my thoughts.
Katie: ummm I can't I have to meet up with my girls in a second.
I lied. so what sue me.
he raised an eyebrow up like he didn't believe a word I said. but he didn't call me out on it he just let go of my waist and walked over to the desk grabbing a pen. he wrote something down the paper then came back over to me.
" here take this" he said hading me the paper. I scanned across the paper. it was a number.
"its my cell phone and my house number...so you could have a better chance of getting in touch with me."
I sighed. lord knows how bad I wanted to take this paper. but it just wasn' t right...
Katie: im sorry devin...but I can't take this.
he opened his eyes wider. and started shaking his head.
Devin: no don't do this to me.
I just stood there with a blank expression on my face.i didn't know what to say.
Devin: is it your husband?
"his name is rayan and yes I just feel like im cheating on him. and I can't hurt him like that, I love him way to much." I replied in a soft tone.
Devin: that's understandable.
I nodded my head alittle.
Devin: well like I said before. I just want a conversation you seem like a really sweet person and I just want to get to know you better. on a friend level of course.
I raised my eyebrow. we were just two seconds away from crashing our lips into each other and the tight as grip he hand around my waist was far from friendly.

devin opened his mouth to speak but it was a knock on the door and once again it was Brenda.
Brenda : im sorry sir but Mr.Dawson is getting impatient. I advise you go and see him now.
Devin: thanks Brenda ill be out in a second.
she nodded then closed the door and I grabbed my purse.
Katie: ill be going now. good bye devin.
