Before He Cheats - Jally - Angst

Valentine's Day is such a pretty day, when you're not lonely. I mean I was for my whole life, until this year. Until the Dallas Winston told me he loved me. I was more than happy! I was on cloud 9! Today would be our first Valentine's Day together. I didn't really know what to get him so I just decided on some chocolates. I hope it was enough.

I was staying at Pony's house that day, I knew my parents hated Valentine's Day. They thought it was to "extra" and that love shouldn't be celebrated. No wonder they don't love me because they clearly don't celebrate me.

It was around 12:47 pm when I heard a strong knock at the door. I knew that knock, it was the incredibly handsome Dallas Winston. I quickly got up to answer the door. When I opened it I saw a teddy bear in front of my face but over it was some blonde greasy hair. Yep, that was my boyfriend. 

"Oh! What's this?" I say when Dally peeked his head out from the side of the bear.

"It's your amazing boyfriend with this amazing teddy bear." He said grinning at me. I swear this man knew how to make anyone blush. I heard someone coming down the stairs quickly.

"Hi Dallas." The voice said.

"Hi Soda." Dallas responded. I turned my head and saw the one and only Soda. 

"Awh, this for me?" He said jokingly (or so I hoped) as he grabbed for the teddy bear.

"Nope! It's for my amazing boyfriend Johnny." He said smiling at me and giving me the bear with one hand and putting the other one in Soda's face. I took the bear smiling.

"Awh thanks Dal, I really didn't need anything."

"Nah it's fine." Dally said. "Anything for beautiful boyfriend." He said taking his hand away from Sodas face. 

I then heard another person coming down the stairs. "Awh, are the two lovebirds exchanging gifts?" I turned my head to see Ponyboy saying it. 

"Oh fuck off!" Dallas said now smiling at pony. "You're just mad You're Single."

"Yeah! Says who?" Pony asked smiling back to Dallas.

"Well if you aren't then who are you dating?" Dally questioned grinning even wider knowing Pony wouldn't be able to answer.

"Okay fine!" Pony said rolling his eyes jokingly and taking Soda by the wrist.

"Agh! Pony! No!" He said adding multiple O's in Pony and No. Dally was looking at them with concerned eyes but then he turned back to me and I already had my chocolates in front of his face. He then took the chocolates.

"Thanks, JohnnyCakes!" He said and smiled. "Oh wait I have another thing."

"Oh?" I said smiling while raising an eyebrow. He then took something shiny out of his pocket. My eyes widened when I saw what he had.

"Don't freak out! I'm not proposing." Dallas took my right hand and slipped a shiny ring on my ring finger. "See it's a promise ring." He said pointing to his right hand which had an identical on his ring finger. I observed the ring slowly then I turned to the palm of my hand, I saw Dallas name carved on the back of the ring. I then took Dallas hand and turned his hand to the palm and saw my name carved on the back. 

"You're so extra, but a nice extra." I kissed his palm then let go of his hand. I saw his face turn a bright shade of pink.

"Get a room you two!" I heard from up on the stairs. I then saw Pony and Soda on the stairs laughing their asses off and running away.
