Mikey's tongue wouldn't let him speak.

"T-Takemitchy.."

Takemichi's face turned a little pink.

"It's fine if you want to talk about jt later Mikey-kun.."

"Yeah.. thank you.."

They ate their second dinner quietly.

After dinner, Shinichiro called everyone to the kitchen table.

"Mikey! Sit!"
Shinichiro said excitingly.

He got the cake out and lit the candles.

"Wahh! Who made this??"

"It was me and Takemichi."
Emma said.

"Thank you, everyone!"
Shinichiro looked at Mikey like he was a different person.

Everyone was a little confused by his, 'Words of kindness'.

They all knew they wouldn't see this Mikey for a long time though.

Mikey blew out the candles and smiled at everyone.

Everybody grabbed a plate.

Mikey took the biggest piece of course.

"Emma! Mitchy! You guys are great bakers!"
Shinichiro said as he got another piece.

Mikey tugged Takemichi's shoulder.

"Let's go outside."

They sat on a bench in Mikey's backyard.

"What did you wanna talk about?"

"Takemitchy... sorry for kissing you like that."
He looked away because his face was red.

"But there's something I wanna say.."

Takemichi listened patiently.

"Umm, I, kinda..."

Mikey took a deep breath.

"Takemichi, I love you. I get really happy when you're with me, I want to protect you, and make you happy!"

Mikey confessed.

Takemichi loved Mikey.
He felt the exact same way.

Takemichi's voice was shaky.
He started to cry.

"Mikey..!"

"Mitchy..?"

Mikey wiped his tears away.

Takemichi broke down in Mikey's arms.

"But can we please wait till we are older?"

Mikey was a little sad to hear this, but Takemichi told him he loved him back.

"Okay... I'll wait until you're ready Mitchy!"
Mikey held Takemichi a bit tighter.
