3rd person pov:
In a dimly lit room, we see a young girl lying in bed, staring up at her ceiling anticipating the ringing that is soon to come from her alarm clock telling her that it is time to get up and get ready for her first day of freshman year.

Aria's pov:
"Well, I guess I should get up and get ready if I am not going to be able to get back to sleep." Standing up and stretching you mentally question why you're up a ridiculous two hours before your alarm even goes off. Knowing that you are going to a whole new school to be surrounded by groups and groups of people you have never seen before you start to rummage through your closet.
You settle on a maroon long sleeve crop top which is going to be paired with a grey undershirt and a black pair of skinny jeans. For your shoes you chose to go with a simple pair of black boots not wanting to deal with platforms or heals all day long for once. Walking into your bathroom you stare at yourself in the mirror. (If this isn't an outfit you would choose then imagine your own outfit for the occasion) "Should I shower again, or should I just get dressed and spend the rest of the time I have to do my hair and makeup?" you question your reflection half expecting to get a response.
About an hour later your hair and makeup are done and you are really thanking yourself on deciding not to shower because if you had you wouldn't have had the time to make your makeup look as good as it does. You slowly walk downstairs to the kitchen trying to sneak around without your mother knowing you are awake.
"Ah Aria you're awake!" your mother cheers from behind you causing you to jump and turn around quickly. "Mom! Don't sneak up on people like that you could have given me a heart attack!" you yelled being as overdramatic as you usually were.
"Oh, calm down you drama queen you are too young to have a heart attack. The bus will be here soon so be sure not to miss it okay?" she says while walking past you and checking her watch. "Yea yea I'm sure they wouldn't fault me for being late on my first day I could just tell them I got lost. " You reply while grabbing an apple from a bowl on the counter. "Absolutely not! No child of mine will ever lie to get out of trouble they caused." she yelled matter-of-factly without turning to even look at you.
You scoff under your breathe and walk out of the house after grabbing your school bag.
"Not like I haven't before but she doesn't need to know that." you mutter to yourself on your walk. As you get closer to the bus stop you finish your apple and throw it in the bin that sits next to the stops bench. It is still slightly dark out as you sit on the stops bench waiting for either the kids on the street to walk up or the bus to pull up when out of the corner of your eye you catch a glimpse of small pink light. Intrigued you turn to look toward where you had seen the shimmer of light only to see that nothing is there, yet you couldn't help but feel uneasy while you sat patiently waiting.
The bus finally shows up after a couple of kids had joined you at the stop. Normally you would have no issues talking to any of them maybe even asking how their summers went or stuff like that but, with the continuing feeling of unease you kept to yourself and even decided to sit by yourself in the back of the bus. The bus had finally finished picking up the students on its route and started its journey to the school. Finally approaching the school only ten minutes later you stared out the window while your stomach turns inside out seeing the large number of students wondering the grounds.
Stepping off the bus you walked up toward the main building hoping to just pick up your schedule from the table that was set up outside the library and then make your way to the cafeteria to pick up a juice.
Sitting at a booth by yourself you looked around trying not to make eye contact with anyone while doing so. "Yea, Aria this is going to be a long day." you said quietly to yourself while looking back to your juice carton.
