The egg

"Bill you are so over protective" Dipper sighed, his demon boyfriend had never let their 'egg' out of his sight since they had it (don't ask how, Bill is a demon anything is possible) . "I am not" he pouted and hugged the egg, "I am just making sure it is safe".
Dipper chuckled and sat down next to him. The brunette looked up at Bill and was surprised by his worried expression, "are you alright?" Dipper asked with concern in his tone.
"I am scared" the blonde admitted looking down at the huge egg in his
arms.
"Of what?" Dipper asked in disbelief, Bill is almost never scared.
"I-I am worried about this child, it will be born half demon-half human, we don't know how many people will want her/him dead! What if we can't protect it! And I am not even sure if I will be a good dad" the demon said, voice shaky.
Dipper wrapped his arms around the tense young man.
"You will be a great dad, and we will never let anything happen to this child" he said reassuringly making Bill relax a bit. "Thanks Pine Tree" the blonde said softly and leaned back into Dippers arms.
"I love you"
