Chapter 7 - Cat Fight

AN HOUR BEFORE BONG BONG'S ARRIVAL

The day started off peacefully in Bong Bong's headquarters as the staff went on about their usual routine.

However, the atmosphere was slightly different as some people were still excitedly gossiping about Bong Bong and Leni's relationship.

Among them was Sara and Martin who was having breakfast together in the pantry.

"Cong. Martin, may balita ka na ba kay BBM?" Sara asked.

"Not much pero I think babalik na siya ng office today. Tinanong ko si senator Imee eh. Nagkita daw sila kahapon."

"Really? So pumunta siya ng Ilocos?"

"Yes... and guess what? Kasama daw niya si Leni."

"Hala... so meeting the family stage na pala sila?"

"Oo, Inday. Eto pa - may suot na daw si Leni na diamond ring."

"Omg. So baka may kasalan nang magaganap anytime soon?"

"Baka. Kung ganon ang mangyayari, magpapapayat na talaga ako."

"Ako rin. Ano kaya sa tingin mo ang motif kapag kinasal sila?"

"Ano pa ba? Edi pink tsaka red... Ang ganda ng color combination nun. Sarap sa mata."

The two of them giggled.

Suddenly, they heard a commotion outside.

"Where is Marcos!? Ilabas niyo siya!"

"Ma'am! Wala pa po siya dito."

"Hindi ako naniniwala! I need to talk to him NOW!"

Sara and Martin stopped giggling as they heard the noise. Curious to see what was going on, the two of them went outside the pantry.

As they eventually discovered who was causing the racket, Sara's vision darkened.

It was Risa.

Sara spoke loudly to get Risa's attention.

"Honti-VIRUS! Anong ginagawa mo dito?"

Risa finally stopped shouting at the security as she turned to Sara.

She angrily walked towards Sara and began to point a finger at her.

"IKAW! IKAW AT SI BONG BONG! AT KAYONG LAHAT! I know what you did and I know what you're doing!"

"Anong pinagsasasabi mo!?" Sara said.

"Kala niyo hindi ko malalaman!? Kayo ang nagpasimuno ng LEAKS!"

"LEAKS?"

A small crowd was already starting to form around them as they continued to argue.

"OO! Yung mga pictures nina Leni at Bong Bong - ginamit niyo yun para matabunan yung issues laban sa inyo!"

"May ebidensya ka? Pwes, ILABAS MO ANG RESIBO! Dun naman kayo mahilig, diba!?"

"Hindi na kailangan dahil alam ko na yun ang TOTOO!"

Sara scoffed.

"Ba't ba gustong-gusto mo ipilit na meron kaming ISSUE? Deserving ka ba talaga maging SENATOR!? Tama nga ang sinasabi nila - magiging PAHIRAP ka lang sa admin namin!"

"OO, I believe DESERVING AKO. EH IKAW? Deserving ka ba sa cabinet position mo?"

Sara started to ball her fists as Risa taunted her,

"SIGE! SAPAKIN MO AKO! DUN KA NAMAN MAGALING, DIBA!?"

"HINDI DESERVE NG KAMAY KO NA MAHAWAAN NG VIRUS NA GALING SAYO!"
