Accelerator's gaze met the compassionate eyes of a teenager with straight blue hair cascading in bands down to his neck. His amber-brown eyes held a gentle warmth, framed by a high school uniform consisting of a black blazer adorned with the school emblem, a crisp white long-sleeved shirt, and a blue tie accented with black and grey stripes. Completing his ensemble were grey trousers and polished black shoes.

Overwhelmed by this unexpected act of kindness, Accelerator hesitated for a moment before accepting the boy's outstretched hand, allowing himself to be lifted back onto his feet.

Accelerator reluctantly accepted the boy's assistance, allowing him to lend a hand and pull him back onto his feet. Clicking his tongue in annoyance, he mumbled a terse thanks before attempting to distance himself from the situation.

"I'm sorry about that. Are you lost? Maybe I can help you," the boy called out, concern evident in his voice.

Accelerator glanced over his shoulder; his expression laced with scorn.

"No, I'm just wandering around," he replied curtly, hoping to discourage any further engagement.

Undeterred, the boy persisted, his voice gentle yet persistent.

"Are you sure? It's alright to ask for help. I won't mind."

Accelerator's tone grew sharper as he stepped away, wanting to be left alone.

"No, I said I'm fine," he snapped, the bitterness seeping through his words. He found himself the darkness of an alley, hoping it would ward off the persistent intruder.

But the boy refused to be deterred, his voice trailing after Accelerator as he followed him into the dimly lit space.

"Hey! Wait a second! Hey!" he called out, his footsteps echoing behind the white-haired figure.

Accelerator turned to face the boy, his eyes filled with a mixture of impatience and intimidation. "I said I'm fine, so fuck off," he growled, hoping to intimidate him into retreating. However, the boy remained undaunted.

"Come on, I saw you wandering around the city like a fish out of water. If you need help, I can help you," the boy insisted, stepping in front of Accelerator, blocking his path.

Frustrated and at his wit's end, Accelerator's patience wore thin. Drawing a stolen handgun from his pocket, he aimed it directly at the boy's head, a dangerous glint in his eyes.

Though surprised by the sudden turn of events, the boy maintained his composure, displaying a resilience that hinted at his familiarity with such situations. The two locked gazes, the air thick with tension as they awaited each other's next move.

Their standoff, however, was abruptly interrupted by an unwelcome sound—Accelerator's stomach growling loudly. In that moment, he realized his oversight. He hadn't eaten since the previous day, and the exertion from his rampage had left him weakened.
