I woke up to the sound of: " BEEP, BEEP, BEEP." I slowly stretch and grab my glasses from the cabinet beside me and put them on, covering some of the freckles that dot all over my rosy pink cheeks. I get up off the bed heading over to my drawer where I laid out my pants for today around 10:00pm last night. I change into my white skinny jeans with hole near my knees and search my closet for my "Panic At The Disco" flaily white band shirt.
I run downstairs grabbing the keys off the hook along with my backpack, and enter the kitchen where my mother is feeding gabe, my baby brother. My dad is... oh wait almost forgot... I don't have one, He left my mother 5 years ago to "Buy Some Groceries." After that we've never seen his coward self again.
I kiss my mother's cheek and ruffle gabes hair then grab an apple off the table. "Hey Abi don't forget that quiz bull tryouts are after school today!" I hear my mother yell while gabe reaches for a marker. "Believe me mom, How could I forget when you remind me every hour!" I joke smiling slightly, "Also you you might want to stop Gabe from eating that red marker!." I giggle as my mom turns quickly taking the marker from Gabes small hands and placing him in the crib.
I make my way out the door and silence the car alarm on my baby girl. A.K.A My Black 57 Chevrolet. Call me weird but I absolutely love old fashioned cars. I think the have more potential! I start my baby girl up and back up making my way out of the driveway and onto the unfamiliar roads.
It's the first year of highschool and the first day of it. I plan to make every single second at this school awesome and worth my time... I can't wait to see what it's like! Have I mentioned, I'm the new kid in a new school in a new state?
