The portal beckons you to return, Ranboo. Do heed it's wish

"Tommy- don't go too far, you never know, the ground could be-"

"I know, Tubbo." Tommy puffed out his cheeks in annoyance, and Tubbo did the same.

"Don't start bickering you two, you'll give me a headache and Endermen don't even get headaches!" Ranboo lowered his torch, so the two in front of him could see him properly. The half-Enderman had a look of annoyance, for two reasons. One, his friend and husband were constantly bickering. Two, narrow spaces annoyed him, and this ravine was no exception.

Said ravine had opened up out of nowhere during the night, and Tubbo had the 'bright' idea to go explore it, inviting Tommy since he had no doubts that Ranboo would come along. Just like they had way back when they were young, Tubbo had said. Tommy was on board instantly, and Ranboo felt as though he had to come along- and it was well that he did, considering that he was the only 'calm' one of the trio.

So, after handing Michael over to his what- grandfather? Great-Grandfather? Didn't matter. Michael was in the more than capable hands of Philza, who was more than happy to babysit the piglin child. Tubbo hadn't specified when, exactly, they would return, not that Philza asked- nor seemed to care. That is what somewhat worried Tubbo. Would they even return?

Tubbo's hooves against stone sounded foreboding, echoing against the narrow walls that forced even someone as lanky as Ranboo had to walk foot in-front of foot. Tommy had taken the lead with his superior night vision that he inherited from being a raccoon, despite that Ranboo had the light. Compared to Tubbo and Tommy, Ranboo barely had good night-vision. Infact, he sometimes had trouble seeing what they could easily see- which is why he volunteered to take up the rear. Tubbo walked into the middle, constantly keeping within arm's length of Ranboo out of fear- he didn't like narrow spaces any more than the enderman.

Tubbo emitted a bleat of surprise when he bumped into the back of Tommy, who had paused. A thin strip of green light filtered through a large crack, large enough for even Ranboo to fit through. Tommy turned his head to the group, as if silently asking if they should go through. Tubbo looked behind at his husband, who sighed, handed Tubbo the light and bag of provisions, and began to make his way through the two. Tommy had to flatten himself against the wall so his friend could pass through.

Bending down to fit in the crack, Ranboo stepped through, looking around for any danger. After a minute that felt like a lifetime, he stepped away from the crack. Tommy deftly slipped through, followed by Tubbo, who barely managed to squeeze in.

"Man, I shouldn't have worked out as much as I did." He muttered, shaking himself to get rid of anything that had stuck on. Tommy stifled a snort of amusement, as Ranboo turned around the corner, attempting to locate the mysterious green light source.

"Reckon we found Dream's base? Everything about him is green, afterall." Tubbo scoffed, having shouldered the pack of food back onto his back. Tommy paled, and Tubbo put a supportive hand on his best friend's shoulder.
"We won't let Dream hurt you Tommy, I swear on my last life." Tommy seemed more reassured at that, and the colour returned to his face as Ranboo called out; "It's coming from a portal!"

Tommy took Tubbo's wrist, and together they rushed to find Ranboo, who hadn't gone far. In-front of him was a huge portal- it looked as if it could fit an entire ghast or wither through it. And of course, instead of the familiar purple they normally saw in a portal constructed as such, it was replaced by a green light that was hard to look at for too long.

"Reckon we just discovered one of Techno's plans? He's always dealing with weird shit." Tommy muttered, and Ranboo shook his head.
"Techno always leaves blood in any 'base' he's in. Tubbo would have bleated in surprise at the scent of blood." Tubbo puffed out his cheeks in mock anger at Ranboo's remark, and Tommy stepped forwards, to get a better look.

Torches suddenly lit as he did so, and in Tommy's surprise, the boy fell in.

"TOMMY!" Tubbo rushed in after him, and Ranboo, knowing nothing good happened when the two were unsupervised, followed Tubbo with a sigh of exasperation.

The light of the sun hit Tommy's face, forcing him to open his eyes with a groan. Sitting up, he brushed his blond hair out of his eyes, checking his ears and tail for injuries. Apart from his tail being a little squished, all fine. He looked towards his right, towards the person knocked out next to him.

Like always, Tubbo's brown puffy hair covered the top half of his face, and caused his silvery-white ears to stick out prominently. His horns curled out from somewhere hidden from under his hair, curling out enough to cup his ears gently. His face, like ever, was scarred from the fireworks Techno had shot at him ages ago- not that Tubbo seemed to hold any grudges. The sun hit his frog-green shirt and made it stand out from the grass beneath the goat boy. His brown pants ended just above his knees, which left his silvery-white goat legs bare. Not that they really needed shoes, since they ended in hooves. Tubbo was on his back, sprawled into an uncomfortable position. He'd ache when he woke up if he stayed like that for long.

Tommy looked down at his own clothes, brushing off dust from his iconic red-and-white shirt, and simple jeans. He had stolen some boots from Techno during Tommy's stay, and it somewhat worried him that they actually fit. His blond hair was untidy, as always.

To Tommy's left, Ranboo lay unconscious. Unlike his two friends, he had a more 'royal' sense of style- and a simple one, at that. In fact, the more Tommy looked at it, the more it looked like he had simply taken the style from Techno. Techno called the shirt a 'poet-blouse' but to Tommy it was just a fancy name for a pirate-styled white shirt. Ranboo had a green-and-red belt that held up tight black pants that hardly needed holding up. He was barefoot, oddly, but really it looked like he had paws for feet so Tommy doubted he would find shoes that fit him comfortably. Ranboo's hair was long as ever, and still was split half-and-half, black and white. He had it tied up in a ponytail before they entered the ravine, but it lay strewn across the ground near him, out of its ponytail.

From what it looked like, Tommy was the only one awake in this.. What was this even?

Standing up, he brushed dirt off of his pants, looking around. They were in the only non-tilled patch of soil, so it looked like they were in the middle of farmland- and it was easy to tell all the crops were carrots. He stiffened at the sound of a voice behind him, and the all-too familiar point of a sword's tip being jabbed into his back.

"Who are you, and why are you three all here?"
