Prologue: Part 1

It was summer of 2517, I had just gotten home from bracserball practice. Wait a second, I probably should tell you who I am, and what bracserball is. Hi, I'm Casey, I'm 13 years old, I have a twin Casey (Cassy), and a brother, Cyle. We're from the future. Anyway, bracserball is a game kind of like soccer, but only using your hands. You play in a wheelchair, which is good because I only have one leg. So instead of kicking you toss the ball. My sister and I are adopted. We were born in the USA, but we were raised in England. We're twins, but I was born 3 months before Cassy. I know you're probably thinking 'that's not possible'. But it is, see I was born 4 months early, but when Cassy wasn't coming after me, they just kept my mom in the hospital until Cassy was ready to come and see the world. We have the same name because my adopted father is blind and when the nurse asked him what his daughter's name was he said 'Casey'. He didn't know they meant his new daughter. So we just pronounce her name 'Cassy' so no one gets confused. And in the story we'll just write 'Cassy' so you don't get confused. Cyle is our real brother and was given to us after he was born, but since children can't take care of babies, he was raised by our adopted parents. Once we were old enough, we were sent to the USAMBS (United States of America Military Boarding School). This is where our real parents work and live. They couldn't take us when we were so little to the military base, but we did go back and live with them. Our dad is a general in the army and our mom is the principal at the school. We go to school there and live there too. It's a boarding school, hence the name, but most kids go home during break. We stay there because we live there. We don't have school though, we just hang out and run around in the school.   Your New Friend,
