The day as normal as one could hope for. In the peaceful neighborhood, a boy, Haru Hayami, who was 14 woke up from his bed as the sun rays hit his face. He groaned as he woke up
Haru: *groaning* morning already....
Melissa-san: Haru! Wake up! Breakfast is ready!
Haru: fineeeeeee
He yelled as his mother screamed from downstairs as he slowly woke up groggily for he was yawning and also rubbing his eyes when he made his way to the bathroom
Haru Hayami, or commonly referred as Haru by his peers and family is a boy who is relatively laid-back and quite friendly. He has a small circle of friends that he would commonly refer to them as 'the crew' purely because all of them love cars
As Haru got ready, he wore a white shirt and shorts as he heads downstairs to meet his mother, Melissa Hayami. As he got downstairs, his mother who was a high-ranking police officer in her precinct greeted her son as Haru sat and enjoyed his breakfast
Haru: thank you for the food
Melissa: Haru, after you finish your breakfast get ready to meet your neighbors
Haru: neighbors?
The notion surprised him for he was not expecting anyone to be moving to their neighborhood. Melissa drank her coffee as she spoke to her son
Melissa: *sigh* remember the Nakano case?
Haru: how could I forget...
He gripped his utensils tightly as the incident upsets him. Who would do such things to their daughters and wife? Melissa saw how her son reacted as she sighed and pinched his cheek
Haru: o-ow! Mom!
Melissa: I get that the incident is upsetting but I better not hear you talk about in front of them
Haru: I understand. Can I ask why are they moving here?
Melissa: well, your father and I knew Rena for as long as we can remember. From high school we were all inseparable
