"Your honour this nowhere proves the man on the other side is Mr Riaz. A voice changer could have been used too " Vikram exasperated and teja looked at him . He was right. The person's voice on the other end wasn't clear. she herself couldn't recognise if it eas Umar or not. But one thing she was sure was that she wasn't going to let Vikram play with that

" You mentioned about how could you believe Mr Patil. Here's a proof he wasn't lying . He did get a call giving him orders. Hence , proving that whatever he said is true too. " She said giving him a patronizing glare and he in turn looked aggitated and glared at Umar who just shrugged

All this while Karan just had a smug smile on his face. The way she wasn't letting Vikram have a upper hand even when he knew they didn't have enough proofs. Everytime he was reminded what a sherni he had chosen for himself

" These were the final proofs accusing Mr Riaz as guilty for the murder of the deceased and Proving my client Mr Karan Kundrra innocent og the crime he was accussed of Your Honour. I request you to sentence him life imprisonment for the charges of mruder by section 304 in IPC " She finished with a heavy heart and looked at Umar with the corner of her eye.

" With the presented proofs , Mr Umar Riaz is termed guilty. He shall be sentenced tomorrow till then He will be in remand . The court is adjourned . " The judge ordered and everybody stood up to greet him .

Tejasswi stared at the retreating van which took Umar. She turned a bit as Karan came to her after seeing of his parents.

" Why didn't you go with them ? " She asked as she leaned on the pillar , closing her eyes thinking something

" I forgot something " He stared at her  as she still had her eyes closed .

" What ? " She mumbled . He didn't answer. Instead she felt his arms around her and she instantly opened her eyes.

" Thankyou " He said softly kissing the side of her head taking her in a hug. Though surprised , she leaned onto his warmth and let her head rest on his chest .

" You don't have to " She mumbled slowly

" I want to. You believed in me thoughout. I would have given up if it wasn't for you " He said keeping his head on her head .

" And i know how much difficult it would have been for you to turn him as the guilty . Yet you did "

" He's lying " She muttered sighing and he instantly broke the hug , still holding her close 

" what ? Who's lying ?" he asked confused

" The witness , Umar . He is not the real murderer . You were right ! What you remembered was right " She let out and he exhaled deeply

" He is going to be sentenced tomorrow Teja ? What's left now ? " He said

" I know. I asked judge for a day. He will be sentenced tomorrow. We still have today to find something " She uttered

" Why do you think he's not the real culprit though ?" He asked as he followed her to her car. 

" The same reasons why i was apprehensive before too . He wasn't in Mumbai , neither did he make any unusual calls. He let me search his house. Which criminal would let do that ? The witness is clearly lying . He was told by someone to do that. And that recording ? It was latest. He recorded it just a few days back just to show me that he is not lying " She pointed out and shrugged casually as if it was all normal
