This is based off a quote. we did this in English class the other day. Basically what we did was we wrote what we thought the quote meant..... Here's the quote:

For Sale: baby shoes, never worn

-Ernest Hemingway

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Me and my wife were so excited to have our new little baby boy. She was 6 months in, and everything was going great. With 2 miscarriages already, she didn't want to try again, but I had insisted; after all, isn't 3 the lucky number? Of course, how was I to know, that there wouldn't be a miscarriage, but there would still be no baby boy? I remember the day perfectly. A beautiful Sunday afternoon in the spring, and it was time for another doctor's appointment. The ultrasound went great, and we were sure that we would have our baby as soon as you can say brand new baby shoes.
I never saw it coming. Not the drinking, not the stop sign, not even the big red car . But when I did, it was too late. My wife was hit head on, put in a coma for 2 and a half months before we pulled the life support. But the baby? He died on impact. So now I sit here, at this lonely, empty garage sale in the middle of winter, trying to get someone to buy all these things that will never be used, including the shoes my wife bought for our beautiful baby boy. Because just looking at these shoes, the shoes that should be on my baby right now, has never been out of the package, never looked at since they left the store we bought them at. And all I can say, is "brand new baby shoes, never been worn, never will be." and pray for someone to come
