Elijah noticed the doppelganger walking past, clearly something had happened when she had met with his mother and that thought was very concerning, so much so that it sent alarm bells off inside his mind.
"So how was my mother?"
Elena jumped at the sound of Elijah's voice and
tried to calm her heart down.
"It was intense" she said
She kept glancing around, searching for the Salvatore's "And for what reason did she need to speak with you in private?"
Elena looked startled for a moment about the fact
that Elijah seemed to know exactly why she came
to the party in the first place but once again she
turned away from him to continue her search, until
her eyes met with Esther's on the stairs once again.
Elijah said again. With no playfulness in his voice "Elena? Should I be concerned about my mother's intentions?"
He listened closely to the sound of her heart beat
and gaze intently at her expression, waiting for her answer
"She just wanted to apologise for trying to have me
killed" she responded as her heart jumped off beat in her chest as she lied to the only Original that she would probably feel guilty for killing.
"So it's true, then? She's forgiven Klaus?" He
pressed on
"It's true" Elena said walking away. 'What a horrible lier. I'd still be pissed if my son killed me'

"Sup Vampires and Mutt with fangs"
"Can't believe you call him mutt with fangs"
"Got a better one"
"Yea. Teacup Yorkie with fangs" Jeremy said
"Oh my god that's better than mine. Hahahaha. Must be why his enemies run away screaming hahaha"
"Ima need you to stop that for I won't look crazy laughing out of nowhere" Kol said
"I'm beginning to think you have an obsession with me love" Klaus said
"You wish" I said back
"My day couldn't have gotten any worse" Elijah said
"Dude you stress to much" Jeremy said
The sound of glass being tapped interrupted their
conversation, everyone turned to look towards the
source which happened to be Esther on the stairs
holding the tainted champagne glass.
"Good evening, ladies and gentleman. Waiters are
coming around with Champaign. I invite you all to
join me in raising a glass." Esther said as everyone grabbed a champagne off the trays
