Love For Design

chapter one

Hi my name is mia brown and am a big dreamer.
Ever since I was a child, I've always wanted to explore the world and to have so many things doing at the same time,but  like my mom always says
You can't always do everything.
My dad died when I was eleven years old,it was the worst time of our life.my mom had to start doing alot of work,just so we can survive and I love her for that.

My mom has always been my inspiration to keep on moving and getting stronger in life

I managed to finish high school and college and I now work in a clothing and designing company_ star choice.
I work as the assistant designing Manager and that's life for me.

(Phone ringing)
I stretch my hands to get it   "hello, who's this" I asked "mia where are you, I've been waiting for you to show up" my best friend Lisa said "em have you forgotten that we have a meeting with the CEO this morning?
"What am so sorry, I'll be right there" I said as I rushed to go take my bath "hurry" she said as she hanged up.

You can't blame me for going to work so late, sometimes I work so late,that I only get to sleep at two in the morning and my work starts seven in the morning.

I dressed up,rushed outside,got a taxi and left for work.
"Good morning ma" my secretary greeted,as I walked into the building "good morning Gina,has the board meeting started yet" I asked her
"Not yet ma" she answered and I rushed into the room.

"Where have you been?"  Lisa asked "sorry,I worked late yesterday" I replied back.

The CEO,mr Justin walked in . "Good morning ladies and gentls" " good morning sir".
" Now let's get started. You all know we have a big reveal,for this year's Valentin,so we need ideas." Any questions , "as soon as he turned to leave, he turned back again " Mr Luke are you done with the presentation?" He asked "not yet sir ,but....." Luke tried to explain,but he cuts in " but what, your always looking for excuses,as a matter of fact your fired and you all are dismissed" Mr Justin said and left.

. "Am so stressed out,I just finished working on some few sketches and now these " I said to Lisa, annoyed.
" I really don't expect you to be working so hard like these" Lisa said looking concerned
" Lisa I know but..."       "But nothing" Lisa cut's in,before I could finish "you have to have time for your self "

" I do have time for my self " I said to her
" Oh really..,so when was the last time you went to the beach or went to a club or went for a vacation ?" Lisa asked
" I do all that,I just don't have time for it anymore " I said to her and turned to my sketch book

" Mia look at me,when was the last you went on a date, apart from Tristan?" She asked again.
"Apart from Tristan,non" I replied back
"You see you need to live life,you know what?, am gonna call my brother and tell him to meet you at the spring restaurant" she said
"Really?"
I said to her
"Come on,it will be fun,I promise"she said with her smiling face
"Sure, whatever" i said to her

Am really not the going on a date type,I just pray that guy doesn't waste my time.
The time was already eight on, meanwhile,I was suppose to be there at seven.
I literally wore my PJ's and left the house .

"Hi am sorry am late"I apologised
" Sure no problem"he replied
"What's your name again ?" I asked him
"It's Jimmy,my sister told me,you where into me"
He said.
I laughed "so was that the lie she told you to feel so good about yourself,I don't mean to be insultive,but have you seen yourself in the mirror,any girl who falls for you is a blind one at that, have a nice night, excuse me".
I said and left.some guys, really should stop dreaming too much
