"We heard that you three were close to him." Officer Tsukauchi started off.

"Since childhood." Mitsuki added

"Thank you. You three were close right?" Tsukauchi

"Define 'close'." Haiiro said before getting elbowed by Katsuki.

"We knew eachother since elementary, though I wouldn't say we were close... anymore." Kariage spoke up remembering the past.

"Katsuki. Inko says he still talks about you all the time." Masaru remembered. This caught Tsukauchi's ear.

"The nerd always talked down on me. We weren't friends." Katsuki said firm in his stance.

Tsukauchi nodded. "Where have you last seen Midoriya"

"Class yesterday" Kariage said. Katsuki nodded in agreement.

"I say him briefly after school." Haairo said. Tsukauchi's gaze intensified slightly on him.

"What was he doing?"

"I don't know. I spotted him at the school's pond/fountain"

"You didn't see anything after? Did he go off somewhere after? Did he look alright?"

"He looked like he always does at school. I didn't see what he was doing, just that he was there" Haairo felt himself tense up as he answered the question.

Officer Tsukauchi stared him down for what felt like hours to the nervous kid before he wrote down what the three had said in a notebook. Sighing, he placed the notebook into his pocket and looked at the people around him, "Thank you all for you cooperation. Best of wishes to all you and stay safe out there alright?" He stood up.

"Of course, safe travels Detective." Mitsuki said opening the door for him. With a tip of his fadora he left the Bakugou residence. She looked at her husband. "I need to talk to Inko." She left the room for privacy.

Masaru nodded. "Why is life so stressful?" he asked no one in particular as he slid a hand down his face with a sigh. He took a moment before looking at the boys.

"Boys, this must be very disturbing news to have encountered. Even if you aren't close to Izuku like you where in childhood, he is still your classmate and I get it. If you want you can spend the night here, together?" Masaru offered.

Haiiro, who was in the middle looked between Katsuki and kariage repeatedly before nervously chuckling.

"Thanks Mr Bakugou but I should probably go home. My mom is a bit overprotective." He said moving towards the door. Masaru nodded before looking back at Kariage.

"I should probably head out to. Haiiro would need a lift anyways." He stood up.
"Alright then. Stay safe." Masaru said as he opened the door for him. Haiiro had already stepped foot outside.

"I'll try." He said with a nervous and very forced smile before his eyes landed on Katsuki.

"See you Kat." He said. Using a nickname in order to differentiate between the two Bakugous.

"Bye." Katsuki said. Kariage frowned as he left.

Katsuki stood from the living room couch and made his way to the stairs. "Old Man, I don't feel like eating tonight. I'm going to bed."

Masaru stopped him with a hand to his shoulder before he could go up the next step. "You're not going up there with an empty stomach. At least take a snack bar up with you."

Katsuki rolled his eyes. "Fine" he grumbled as he went to the kitchen. He then tried to go upstairs again.

"Katsuki."

"What is it Old Man?"

"You know you can talk to me right? I'm always here for you." Masaru comforted. Katsuki took a deep breath in and out.

"I know." He said before finally heading for his room.

Evening quickly became night and Katsuki was sat upright on his bed. Light from the moon crept through the small opening of his curtain wich illuminated his room with the faintest of light.

His lunchbar remained uneaten on the desk next to his bed. He had changed into pyjamas but was just staring downwards in a sort of trance. No thought behind his eyes and confusing, unpleasant feelings in his chest.

Katsuki didn't get much sleep that night.
