Shalltear was unscathed and the ground now looked like a desert with all that sand that now covered the surface.

'Well, I'll be damned.' Astra leaned back with a smirk. 'Everything is going exactly as he planned.'

<I'm sorry.> Ainz apologized through [Message] as Astra teleported out of the treasury. <But I know you see them as family. I could not ask you to kill a member of that family.>

After a moment of silence, Astra finally responded. <And you did not want them to kill each other.>

<That is correct.>

Astra sighed and stopped in front of the doors that led to Ainz's quarters. <Will you at least run your plan through me? So won't have a heart attack over nothing in case you intend to make a fake-out?>

<Of course.> He quickly agreed. <I know you'll kill me for real if I didn't.>

She huffed a laugh.

'It was a hell of a risk though.' She mused. 'If she fought him any other way, he wouldn't have been able to execute his plan so flawlessly.'

"Mistress?" Cocytus spoke up when he noticed the look on her face. "May I ask for your input?"

Astra hummed and started to absent-mindedly run her fingers over Demiurge's tail, making the demon shiver. "In Player vs Player, otherwise known as PVP, the most crucial part of combat is deceiving your opponent with false information." She smirked. "For instance, you could change your armor so that holy attacks aren't very effective, but still act as though they cause you damage."

Cocytus straightened up in realization.

"Or hide the fact that you're still weak to fire by fighting through the pain and keeping your composure." She continued. "He knew she could use [Life Essence] to check the state of his HP, so he casted [False Data, Life] before they started. But she kept focusing on his MP. When you engage in PVP, you should constantly check both. Knowing everything about your enemy is vital if you want to execute your strategy."

The Guardians stared at her in awe. The Supreme Beings were truly skilled in the art of battle and deception.

"Did you participate in these 'PVP' battles too, my Queen?" Cocytus asked.

She blushed and looked at him. 'Queen? That's a new one.' "The others taught me a lot but I was never really good at it. I was mostly the team healer in boss fights."

Turning back to the fight, Shalltear charged in anger and Ainz casted [Perfect Warrior] before throwing off his robe and appearing in familiar silver armor just as the vampire lunged an attack.

Cocytus slammed his hand on the table. "Impossible! I thought that armor was lost forever!"

"It does look familiar." Albedo muttered.

"It should. It belonged to Lord Touch Me. But it can only be worn by a world champion class warrior. Lord Ainz is a caster!"

"[Perfect Warrior]." Demiurge echoed the spell. "It allowed him to change to warrior class and use their equipment without penalty."

"Still. The fact that he can don world champion armor is astounding."

Albedo swooned. "My beloved is truly wonderful!"
