I went into your work to surprise you,
I confidently asked to see you,
You didn't know i was going to show up there,
The lady at the desk looked at me and said
"He isnt working today."

My heart sunk and i tried to convince myself that it wasn't true
I panicked and asked what girl
I kept saying in my head

I got home and finally looked at my phone

"Sorry, I was at work."
I sunk even further

She replied
