bad introduction

Lexie's POV

It was the Mercy West people's first day here and I was overjoyed to meet them! That was until I walked into the cafeteria and they were all wearing orange scrubs. I decided that I would attempt to make a good impression and walked up to a gorgeous redhead.

"Hi my name's Lexie grey welcome to Seattle Grace!"

She turned and looked me up and down, laughed slightly, and walked away. What did this entitled bitch think was special about her, and why could I not be mad at her. I've talked to her once and our whole 10 second conversation she was a bitch, yet I'm not mad at her.

I was assigned to Derek Shepherd's service today, which I could never be mad about. I was all excited to be working with Neuro for the first time in awhile until I walked into the patient's room.

Aprils POV

I was assigned to work with Derek Shepherd today, which did not excite me too much. I was never a fan of Neuro, but he was the chief so it would make me look good.

I was just going over my patients labs when the annoying girl from the morning walked in. Why was she so happy? What did this hospital have to offer that made her so happy? Her smile seemed to fade a bit when she walked into the room, I felt kind of bad about the morning.

I decided it would be appropriate to introduce myself as we would be working on the same case together.

"Kepner, April Kepner. You're Grey right"

Lexie's POV

Did she just talk to me?

"hey answer my question" April spoke

"Sorry yeah I'm Grey" I responded slightly annoyed

"Listen I was trying to be polite as we are gonna be working on this case together, and probably more in the future, but if your gonna be like that forget about it" April said angrily

"You're gonna tell me off? I tried to be polite and introduce myself to you this morning, and you just looked me up and down and laughed. Yet you expect me to be polite." I shouted back.

"Woah what's going on in here?" Derek questioned as he entered the room

"She was getting all mad at me after I tried to introduce myself to her. I knew Seattle Grace wouldn't be accepting of us Mercy West doctors" April expressed with a smirk

"Lexie is that true" Derek asked

"I- what uh- I-" I tried to form words but my brain was shocked from what April had just said

"Grey step out of the room and calm down for a bit we'll talk when I'm done here" Derek told me angrily

"Wait Derek I-"

"I don't wanna hear it right now Lexie. Go, leave."

HI!!!! this is my first chapter, and my first time writing any fanfic. I'm also only on season 7 of Greys... these characters are probably not gonna be portrayed how they normally are in the show, but shhhhhhhh. anyways this writing isn't gonna be good I'm kind of just having fun. this fanfic was inspired by the song She, by Dodie.
