"So let's revise it all over again," Suzuka said, eyeing her notes.
"Yuta will invite his parents to Seoul for a family trip." Yuta nodded and showed a thumbs up.
"And I'll take Sicheng to Seoul with me, and there I'll call his parents telling them I'm a kidnapper and if they want him back, they've to come to Seoul."
She said, passing a glance to Sicheng who nodded, noting it down in his notepad.
"And there, we will gather them all up and you both will confess. That's our only option for now, at least better than running away. Who knows it might even end the enmity between the families?"
"I don't have a good feeling about it but it doesn't mean I'll back off," Yuta said from the other side of the FaceTime.
"And that's my boyfriend." Sicheng grinned at Yuta.
"You guys make me feel so lonely." Suzuka sighed as both of them laughed.
"Well, that's all I guess, let's see each other in Seoul by the following weekend." She said.
"Finally I'll be getting out of the school."
"Don't get all excited, bet you will miss it after somedays, or at least the memories you made there, not studies of course." She chuckled.
"Bye Sicheng, Bye Suzuka, good night." Yuta waved, before hanging up the call.
-
"Are you seriously... going?" Ten asked Sicheng, not wanting to believe the fact that he will be going far away from them.
"Don't get so emotional, it's not like we will then never meet again." Sicheng rolled his eyes, although deep inside, he didn't want to leave them yet. Suzuka was right, he will miss it all.
"I like how you guys are finally doing something responsible, although it's risky." Kun encouraged.
"But I like the kidnapping prank." Ten laughed, making the other two laugh along with him.
-
"Where's he?"
"He must be coming," Suzuka muttered, looking around the Seoul airport for Yuta. Yes, the day has come already. They'll be putting their plan to work.
"Holy cow, I just realised something." Suzuka face palmed herself.
"What?" Sicheng asked, suddenly anxious.
"His parents are coming today also. He must be picking them up. That means I'll have to take you to the hotel while hiding from them, I don't want them to recognise me."
She said, more like talking to herself, before she grabbed her luggage and dragged it outside of the airport, Sicheng following suit.
After a few minutes, they got a taxi. She gave the driver the address of the hotel, and sat on the passenger side, while Sicheng sat in the backseat.
The whole ride was silent. Neither of them spoke anything. But Sicheng could see Suzuka's lips twitch sometimes as if she wanted to tell him something but couldn't. Maybe it's something personal she didn't want the driver to know.
After a while, they finally reached their destination. She paid the driver, took their luggage and led Sicheng to the hotel. She entered the hotel, but as soon as she did, she cursed and turned around, fiddling with her bag.
"What happened?" Sicheng whispered.
"Yuta's parents are here." She whispered shouted, taking out two masks, a pair of sunglasses and a cap. She gave a mask and a pair of sunglasses to him.
"Here, wear it. I doubt if they'll recognise you, but still, it's better to be safe." Sicheng took it, as she wore the cap and mask. Sicheng sighed and wore his mask and sunglasses before they started to walk to the reception table.
Yes, Yuta was there with his parents. He gave them a glance but looked away with unbothered eyes. He didn't recognise them. Although as much as it hurt Sicheng, it was still a good factor.
If Yuta couldn't recognise them, then no one else can.
Soon it was their turn. Suzuka did the talk quickly and grabbed their room keys before heading for the lift. But then her phone rang, making her take it out of her pocket.
"It's Yuta." She replied to Sicheng's curious expression, before picking up the call. Sicheng just listened to their conversation dumbfounded, not understanding anything as it was in Japanese.
Soon the lift stopped with a ting, indicating that they'd reached their floor. The automatic doors of the lift slid open, as they both stepped outside. Finally, Suzuka kept her phone back in her pocket.
"Thank Goodness they have got a room on the fourth floor while we've it on the sixth one." She let out, strolling to their room. She entered the key and opened the door.
"There are two beds. Hope that's okay with you. I was planning to get you another room but Yuta didn't want you to be alone so.." She explained, already unpacking her stuff.
"Well, yeah that's fine with me as long as you're comfortable." He tried giving a smile, going to the other bed and throwing his luggage on it.
"I'll go to the bathroom to get fresh, till then you can talk to your friends." She passed him her phone, before going to the bathroom.
He sighed and sat down on the floor, dialling Kun's number who picked it up almost immediately.
"Did you reach safely?"
"Yeah, add Ten to the call by the way."
"Ok, wait."
(the italic sentences represent Ten's words)
"Hello? Sicheng are you okay?"
"Yeah I'm, we almost bumped into Yuta's parents but thankfully, Suzuka was already prepared."
"When will you put the plan to work?"
"Tomorrow, I guess."
"You better do it soon, I think they might involve the police in this matter soon."
"Alright, I need to go now, I'll call you guys later. Bye."
"Be safe."
"Bye."
He hung up on the call, as Suzuka came out of the bathroom.
"Did you talk?"
"Yeah, I did. Can I use the bathroom now?"
"Yeah, sure." She gave him a small smile, before drying her hair as he took his things and went to the bathroom.
"This is going to be a long ass ride."
