(Y/n) couldn't sleep at all that night. All she could think about was what she was gonna say once they found him. Should she hug him? Should she be angry? What is she supposed to say? She was so brave in front of Technoblade, saying how she wants to find her father as soon as possible but she doesn't even know what to do once she finds him. She doesn't even know how he'll react. Will he push her away again?

Soon she was up before the sun. She barely slept, her mind still occupied with questions that will soon be answered. Soon. Hopefully.

(Y/n) wore her usual cloak and kept her wings hidden. She wasn't in the mood to fly around. She slowly walked out her room and went to the kitchen. She practically forced Technoblade to travel to her father, the least she can do is cook them some food.

She looked around and saw a few meat and some vegetables.

(Y/n) prepped the ingredients and soon started cooking a stew. While waiting for it to boil, she got the table ready. When she was done, the stew was cooked. She turned the cooker off and went to wake up the two.

"Toby? Wake up. Food's ready," She said, gently shaking the boy awake. "What..? It's too early though.." Toby rubbed his sleepy eyes while looking out the window. "I know. We'll be traveling today so it'll be good to leave early." Toby just nodded and started getting up.

She left Toby's room and contemplated on waking Technoblade up. She took a deep breath in and opened Technoblade's door, only to find him sitting on his chair by the desk on the corner. "Oh. You're already awake.." (Y/n) muttered. "I never sleep," Technoblade simply said. "Right.. Well, food's ready downstairs." She slightly bowed her head even though Technoblade's back was facing her. She left his room to escape the suffocating awkwardness. She was blinded with her desire to find her father that it built a wall between her and the person closest to her heart.

She sat down at the dining table and ate, alongside Toby. Technoblade didn't come down to eat at all. Sigh.

(Y/n) scooped some soup in a bowl and walked to Technoblade's room. Holding the bowl with one hand, she slowly knocked before opening the door. "I brought you food," She muttered, staring at Technoblade's back. His position did not change since she left. She ignored the silence Technoblade answered and walked over his desk. She put down the bowl on the desk and just stared at him. "I don't need to eat."

"You do. I know you're a God, but you need to eat. You're not just some weapon," (Y/n) mumbled the last part. Unfortunately for her, Technoblade heard it. He just sighed and started eating the stew slowly. After 5 spoonful, he stopped and looked at (Y/n). "I'm done." He slightly nudged the bowl back to (Y/n) but she wasn't having it.

THUD

She hit his head with a book she grabbed from his desk. Technoblade just froze in disbelief. "Be angry at me if you want, just eat the damn stew!" Technoblade looked up at her, there were definitely tears glossing her eyes but they never fell. For some reason, Technoblade found it funny.

"What are you laughing at?" (Y/n) eyed the God in front of her who just shook his head and continued eating. (Y/n), not knowing if Technoblade is alright with her sitting on his bed(he never used it), sat on the floor. "Why are you sitting on the floor?" Technoblade questioned. (Y/n) stayed quiet and just stared at the floor.

Technoblade then continued eating the stew, taking a few glances towards the girl.

"I'm Sorry."

The two said in unison, breaking the deafening silence eating up the room. (Y/n) couldn't help but shed a few tears. As soon as it started pouring down, it didn't stop, and this honestly amused Technoblade. "You could never stop your tears, huh?" Technoblade stood up, walking over the now sobbing girl. "You are well aware that I can't last without talking to you." (Y/n) wipes her tears away and looks at Technoblade, hiccuping.

"Yes, I am." Technoblade just stared at her. He was used to (Y/n) crying, although this time was different. She was crying because of an argument. An argument between the two of them. To think he was the reason behind her tears makes him regret everything.

"You should quit crying if you wanna find your father. You wouldn't want him to see you like that." Pushing his thoughts away with a tease, he goes back to his desk, forcing a small chuckle to suppress his forming tears. Technoblade sat down, expecting (Y/n) to stand up and get ready but she just stayed there.

"I don't even know what to tell him.. It's been so long since I last saw him. So long.. Gods- I don't even remember what he looked like. All I remember of him are these same obsidian wings."

"(Y/n), look it's not your fault he-"

"Gods- Techno I am pathetic! You just wanted to mend things with me and I've made everything worse.." (Y/n)'s wings tore her cloak trying to break free. "You did not. There's nothing wrong with a daughter wanting to see her father. I am at fault here as well, if I didn't pry you about your brothers, things wouldn't have led to this." Technoblade lowered himself to the floor with (Y/n).

"Listen. We will find your father. But we won't rush things. You're gonna have to be patient. Alright?" Technoblade spoke with caution, afraid that one wrong word would break the fragile girl in front of him.

"Thank you, Techno.."

Yes I know I announced that I'll be updating in a few months, not weeks but I had a idea, and I might not remember it after a few months so I typed it down and got it ready. I don't know when I'll be able to post the next one but definitely not soon hahaha. Thank you for being patient, I hope you are still walking beside me till the end of this journey. I love you guys! If there are any mistakes, feel free to point them out(nicely, please, I have a sensitive heart :'>)
