I breathe deeply.
"OK Hugo, your just going to a new school. No big deal."
I open the doors to the stationary store. A bell rings. I'm nervous about leaving all of my (2) friends, the teachers, everything. But hey, atleast the principal won't be a jerk to me anymore.
"Welcome to Meredith Stationary Store."
A clearly exhausted man's voice welcomes me a few steps in. He seems to be about 19.
I walk to the shelves and pick up a few pens, one of each color. There's new comics on sale, so I grab one and walk back to the cashier.
He scans the barcodes.
"That'll be 10 dollars and 50 cents."
I give him the cash.
Do you ask him to keep the change (2) or take it? (3)
