1. LONG JOURNEY

It was a long sunny day... he woke up by the sweet sound of birds chirping and sunrays falling on his handsome face....he made an irritated face and she smiled seeing his innocence...he looked like a child sleeping, a very cute one...she smiled and closed the curtains which were disturbing her husband's sleep....she had just taken a shower and came out..she sat on the chair in front of her dressing table...she glanced herself in the mirror and took a small box which contained vermilion...she took a little of it and smeared it in the line of her head...she was married now..a married woman she was no more a girl who was free to do anything she wanted...everything had changed and she had changed too...she realized her love but was he the same man who used to roam around her everyday, all day and tease her. Why was he ignoring her so much that he didn't even care to take a look at her on their first night...but then I deserve it..I hurt him so much...maybe it's gonna be a long journey with him...maybe too long for him to know her feeling towards him.

She was lost in her thoughts when she heard the cupboard open...it was him. He took out his towel and went to washroom without even looking at her. He ignored her presence and she was hurt. Can't he wish me morning on our first day as a married girl, am I that bad that I won't get an chance to amend my mistakes. Everyone was elated in the Jaigarh palace after the royal wedding of Yuvraj Udayveer Singh. Raj mahal was full of hustle and bustle. Manyata was preparing kheer in the kitchen as it's a ritual. Everything was ready for the breakfast in the riyal kitchen, everyone waited for the kheer made by the Yuvrani.

The royal family was waiting for the kheer to be served. Manyata came with the servants holding the kheer and she served Giriraj and then came to Uday...she smiled at him and wished him a good morning, he smiled a bit and wished her back but she did not like his cold behaviour towards her. Everyone complimented the kheer and Giriraj gave her the shagun and left as he had an important meeting.

Manyata was sitting in her bedroom when Uday entered, he looked angry. She asked him

MANYATA: What happened Uday, you look worried ?

UDAY: Nothing Manyata, I have to go to America for a week so I'm in hurry. I have to pack my things..just call Rohit he'll do it. My flight is in 3 hours I don't have time ( he said in hurry)

She was left dumbstruck, how can he leave her for a week the very next day of their marriage.

UDAY: Manyata I asked you to call Rohit.

MANYATA: It's okay. I can pack your bag.

He gave her a confused look, she ignored it packed his bag neatly while he just looked at her in utter shock

UDAY ( THINKING): Why is she doing this? Why is she behaving like wife? She didn't want to marry me but now I have been observing her she is behaving all like a wife. No you are thinking impossible things Uday. It's nothing like you think. She is just helping you.

He was brought out of his thoughts when she asked

MANYATA: Why are you going so soon

UDAY: What? I didn't get you Manyata

MANYATA: I mean is it really important to go on the first day our wedding. I don't think anybody leaves his wife on the first day of their marriage that too for a whole week. ( she said sadly)

UDAY: So you don't want me to leave?

MANYATA: No

UDAY: Ahan..but why?

She was about to tell him but someone knocked on the door and her chance to tell him the truth was gone

UDAY: Bye Manyata, I'll come soon..take care. If you need anything just ask Unnati or the servants and if you want u can call me

With this he left Manyata deep in her thoughts

If I want, he still thinks I don't want him to be with me. Of course I'll call you. How will I stay away from you for so long? I'll confess my feelings to you the day you would return from America and will make it memorable for you. It was you all the time who made me feel special but this time it's my turn MY Yuvraj. (She smiled at her idea)

She needed Unnati's help for this...so she went to her. Unnati was more than excited to execute this plan and was happy for both her DADA AND BHABHISA.

The days were passing like centuries for Manyata...she was preparing the surprise for him but was missing him as hell...he on the other side did not even pick up calls just to make her realise how strong her feelings are for him. Finally it was the day when Uday had to come back and Manyata was super excited to finally confess her
