Chapter 1

"Mom, is Bethany here yet?" I message to my mom through mind link since she was down stairs in one of the many rooms.

"Yes, she has just arrived. Her father Alpha Soto is talking with your father right now since Alpha Cooper is very busy in his office."

I smile skipping downstairs and walked out my cottage. The sun rays blared my way as I had to cover my eyes with my fingers.

I squinted towards all directions to see if I could find Beth. I feel a tap from behind and freeze. I turn to see it was Alpha Soto. I smile giving him a hug.

"I know I must be a disappointment since I'm not my daughter but its nice to see you."

Beth's father was one handsome man there was no doubt in that and the Luna to their pack was beautiful as well. The only reason he was so close to our pack was because him and Cooper were cousins and that blood line was the only thing that kept them together.

Other than that, they couldn't stand each other for nothing in the world. Especially since there's been many sightings of Alec's pack members scanning our borders, security was tight around borders.

Especially if wanted a morning run and you were the Beta's daughter. I grab onto his arm and walk down my front yard to the stone pathway.

"Its okay. I actually wanted to ask you a few questions, Alpha. Not meaning to intrude on personal matters but only for the safety of my father since he leads our warriors."

He nods his head for me to continue. "Are they planning an attack anytime soon?"

"I do not know for Alec is very young but still has his father helping him lead. At this rate, Alec's Clan will control the East part of the United States. If this continues, clans will have to come together to take him and his whole wretched family down." I shivered at that possibility because it was a very high one.

"That's why if we stop him now, we can prevent the war that is soon to come. Your father is a strong warrior and I trust him with my men to protect you all."

I look down and look over to the left to see my father skimming at my walking form and lightly smile. I smile back and Alpha Soto stops me.

"Anyway, you shouldn't worry about such troubles. Remember, I still haven't forgotten about your birthday child."

Alec's P.O.V

"Is everything ready for our kidnap?" I ask my beta. She smiles and pats my arm.

"Whenever your ready."
