𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗽𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀, 𝗸𝗻𝘆 𝘅 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 (✔️)

PART 15 ~

you let out a low hum, looking back to the demon, only to find he was already staring at you. his face was awe-stricken.

he crouches down in front of you, "are those two your siblings?"

"hmm..." you nod slightly, looking up at him with big doe eyes.

the demon stood up, walking back over to where tanjiro and nezuko were.

he started ranting about letting nezuko become his sister, saying he would spare tanjiro's life if he gave her to him.

tanjiro grits his teeth, denying entirely, "take her instead!" he waves his blade over towards you, you blink.

the demon narrows his eyes, looking back to you.

he holds his hand out, "become my little sister"

you blink, but take his hand, hugging his leg. the boy blinks in slight shock.

tanjiro breathes out in relief, believing that would deter the demon from nezuko.

but it hadn't, the demon kept urging for nezuko to become his sister also, he had also revealed his rank in the twelve kizuki. 'lowermoon 5'.

it ended up with the demon grabbing nezuko with his strings and bringing her over to you two, she struggled, growling. she scratched his face right across the middle, you hum worriedly.'he keeps a blank face.

tanjiro had run at the demon to grab nezuko but by that time she was already gone, you were also gone. he had strung you over to a tree to sit while he suspended nezuko in the air with his strings digging into her skin.

you watch as the two continue to battle, tanjiro even broke his sword.

but soon becoming distracted by the scuttling spiders, you look away and bring your legs to your chest, watching every little bug stroll passed you.

by the time you had looked back, tanjiro was even more injured, but he was using an entire different breathing style.

your eyes go wide, that looked awfully like the 'hinokami kagura' dance your father used to perform.

he quickly reached the demons neck as you hum in worry, nezuko had also awoken, her hand was outstretched and a bright pink flame emerged, burning all the strings.

you watch in worry, trying to peek through the flames for a glimpse of the demon.

but once the flames had passed you had noticed the demons head go flying. your eyes widen in panic.

but you furrow your eyebrows, he wasn't disintegrating.

your eyes witch to tanjiro who was desperately trying to crawl over to nezuko despite his injuries. you frown.

but your eyes widen in relief as you watch the demon stand up, picking his head up with his strings and mocking tanjiro a bit.

he grabs his head, walking after tanjiro who was crawling away.

you lean back on the tree as he places his head back on, looking away and getting distracted again.

by the time you had looked back, there was another male. the same one who had saved nezuko. he was just finished decapitating the demon.

your eyes go wide and you felt a sudden pain in your chest, your eyes start to fill with tears. he was disintegrating this time.

you sit, silently watching with zero expression as another girl comes in, attempting to kill nezuko. they chat for a while before tanjiro runs off with nezuko in hold with the lady and the other male following short after.

you continue to stare down at the demons clothes, your eyes go watery, "mphh.."

but you breathe out, they hadn't noticed you at all. what was the point of staying with tanjiro and nezuko if you didn't feel like you belonged.

so you close your eyes for a moment before opening them again. you were going to leave. leave them behind and go somewhere else. not like they would ever notice.

so you take a big gulp, folding up the demons clothes and putting them in your ahori and sending a single glance to where they had all run off to before running off on your own. away from the troubles tanjiro and nezuko brought along.
