But did this mean this boy was as talented as Myles? Unbelievable. Was this another character that never showed up in Divinia, but had crazy good fighting skills?

[Name] was deep in thought when they realized they still had their donut bag on the grass next to them. I'll just eat another one while watching this random boy, [Name] thought. Oh wait, that sounds creepy as fu-

Turns out, bags always crinkle the loudest in embarrassing situations.

"Shi-" [Name]'s eyes darted up and widened. There, they made eye contact with the brown-haired boy...

...who was actually really cute.

Plus his eyes held a deep sense of kindness - or whatever that meant.

But besides that, they just got caught while sneakily watching him! Now they look like a major creep.

Though to [Name]'s surprise, the boy called out politely to them.

"Um...Excuse me...? Can I help you?" He said, wiping sweat off with his palm. [Name] flinched. His voice was extremely calming...! But he was a little too relaxed for someone who just saw a person peering at him through a bush. Must be because [Name] was still a child.

"Ah-!" [Name] quickly grabbed their bag and stood up. "Yes, um, hello!" They bowed with their head. "Sorry...this must seem really weird, right?"

The brown-haired boy blinked, a soft smile spreading on his face. "Haha...I definitely was surprised. But I didn't sense any malicious intent from you." His eyes darted down to [Name]'s donut bag. "...But what's in there?"

The h/c-haired teen looked down as well, laughing awkwardly. "Oh! These--these are donuts! From a nearby shop that just opened." They stepped closer and rummaged through the bag, before pulling out their f/d with a napkin. "H-here! You should try one, they're so good. This one is my favorite btw! I'll give it to you as an apology for, um, watching you. Wait sorry, that still sounds weird."

He looked at the donut, chuckling at their words. It was surprisingly a nice, soothing sound. "Are you sure?"

[Name] nodded, cheeks slightly tinted red. Who was this boy and why'd he have this effect on them? "Extremely sure-!"

The jade-green eyed boy stepped forward and carefully took the donut from them. He slowly took a bite and his face lit up.

"Whoa! These...are really good." He examined it, before going in for another one bite. "Thanks!" He grinned, and [Name] swore they could see sparkles around him.

"N-no prob!" They stuttered. Seriously, who was this kid? He acted like a main character with his dazzling smiles and tranquil presence.

Wait.

Main character...?

[Name] looked him up and down.

Divinia's books often described Forrest as this: Brown hair, jade green eyes, and an innocent-looking but optimistic face. His voice seemed to relax those around him, but he spoke with fiery eloquence on the behalf of those in need. Although awkward at times due to poor socialization in his childhood, he had undeniable charisma, swordsmanship, and magic skill.
